Afaic, folks can say whatever they like, because they *do* say whatever they

like.

It seems very silly here to correct the past :-p.

geo: Afaic?

There is no " it " doing anything, Anna.

You seem to balk at this.

And that's okay with me.

I'm not trying to convince you of anything.

Probably it is best that you don't even go there.

Please don't, in fact.

Having everything fall apart isn't a wonderful love picnic.

It's just what is.

One will never understand one's own knowing process, unless and until the

fundamental assumptions of that process are laid bare and allowed to dissolve.

Yes, to know anything as an object is to have a position outside of it from

which to survey it.

One understands that this situation of knowing objects is an infinite regress.

One steps back to see what is seeing the object, and then has to step back to

see what is seeing that which is seeing that which is seeing the object.

Another name for this infinite regress is " time. "

At the point of comprehending the infinite regress involved in knowing any

object as such, the entire edifice of knowledge collapses.

This includes knowledge about any quality of any kind, including even

" awareness " or " nothingness. "

There is no point in debating this, as if it were a conceptual idea to be proved

right or wrong.

It is, rather, experiential.

That is, one comes to the impossibility of knowing anything, one comes to the

inability to formulate any thing or quality.

One's knowing of anything at all collapses.

And one ... sees what is.

That is all.

One can't give this to someone else.

One can't give it to oneself.

One is not there to have this experience or to make it happen.

Nor is one missing from the experience, nor is one something else, other than

what this is.

The words offered about this are in nature of invitation, that is all.

The words and their meanings collapse along with everything else.

This truth is born of necessity.

It is only clear when there is no other option and it can't be avoided.

Sorry, there is no it making everything happen.

I guess that's hard to hear, for some.

Surprising that it is so difficult, but okay, there it is.

It is raining.

Somehow that has a nice sound to it.

It is peopling.

It is computer listing.

It is doing everything by doing nothing.

It absents itself to present itself.

P.S. you aren't here with me, to know what is " hard to hear " , or what is

difficult, or what is easy.

So, you are projecting.

Enjoy it, kind sir :-p.

Everything is done by doing nothing.

The word " it " doesn't represent a something, neither big nor little something.

There isn't any do-er, on a small scale or big scale.

The it that is raining, isn't making it rain.

It is the raining.

And please don't get fooled by the word " it " ...

Certainly there is no " it " ...

Except as a form of speech ...

A silly P.S.

What sir are you talking to, and telling him that he isn't hear with you, that

isn't your projection?

Hopefully, anyone following this dialogue will be clear at this point that

" projection " as a concept is only viable as long as there is a " projector " and

someplace to project.

No assumed projector, no assumed location for a projection, and no projecting is

possible.

There isn't any actual thing or event called " projection. "

It's just an inference, a talking point, nothing more.

So, perhaps one is able to lay to rest any assumptions about any do-ers of any

kind, anywhere - of the ultimate sort or the day-to-day sort?

I can talk about how Harvey forgot a button on his shirt, or Sally went to the

hairdresser - and yet, no do-ers or done-to's have I ever seen.

It's simply the experience of no doer anywhere that is what is ...

A million words won't convey this.

Never have and never will.

But it's fun hinting ...

Neither does the word " awareness " .

I'm not aware that anyone but Dan came up with the word/concept " making

something happen " as being in any way related to the conversation.

Now, there is a Dan, when it suits a Tim.

Funny stuff!

Do you think here is in some way associated with a Tim?

Guess again.

So, Tim saying that it's perfectly clear here, is irrelevant, Tim.

But yes, of course, I agree, it is perfectly clear here.

And my irrelevance in noting that, is acknowledged.

How could it be anything other than perfectly clear here?

Has it ever been anything else?

It's a fact, Geo.

As long as there is any other option, there are two options (or more).

And how do you know for sure that awareness is or isn't the very act of

creating/recreating? And you, I and the dog (words/names given to awareness)

are intimately and simultaneously connected in that creating/cocreating of what

*Is*? The present presence of the present?

You assume too much about me, Dan. There is no bottom to fall out

when identity is fluid, and understanding is a flowing relationship

with reality.

Not some mental de/construction.

If you ever want to speak with me on another level, let me know, speaking of

dissolving one's opinions.
