" Writing " just arises, eh? One doesn't sit and plan out what to write (unless

that happens, I s'pose).

And so what is doing the writing... is it the " I " that arises *as* the writing,

as part of the writing, as in saying " I am writing " ? Obviously not.

I enjoy not observing the observer that isn't there.

It's not like anything.

No 'better' or 'worse' than any other repartee, really.

Awareness seems to enjoy blabbering, while pretending something/one 'else'

exists.... eh? :-p.

Awareness is doing nothing simply because it doesn't exist.

But thought clains to be the owner of awarenes and to be the doer.

It's silly to suggest that all repartee is equal.

The idea that there is some Awareness doing everything isn't tenable, in my

opinion - it's just another version of an imaginary separable entity - just on a

" really big " scale.

If you can't differentiate between self-centered childish behavior, and adult

conversation, then I'm not sure what to tell you to clear that up for you.

Nonsense.

There is no " Awareness " doing everything.

That's purely make-believe fantasy and projection.

Yes Dan, true,

And if you do the next step seeing how awareness is created by the brain yo will

see that awareness does not exist:

The firing of memory cells within the neuronal netweork is what we experience as

awareness.

To use a metaphor for that firing of memory cells one could say that awareness

(or consciousness) is a flow of contents of those atcivated memory cells and

that flow we call awareness. But awareness is neither a function nor a state. It

is just millions of 'sparkles' happening in the neuronal network.

And the brain, the brain cels, the firing..... are all not awareness because

they are the source of awareness. Which is the next step werner?

Nonsense Dan.

I suppose awareness doesn't type on a keyboard, read the screen or gather its

*thoughts*.

Call it nothing call it everything, including make-believe fantasy and

projection, but you can't escape its reality, even if it seems

arbitrary and ephemeral.

Geo, I would be happy to answer your question as long as you are really and

seriously interested.

But as long you are only interest is to find some faults in what is written

then you are just a fault-finder but not a companion one could walk together

with and share the adventures of the walk.

Geo, I would be happy to answer your question as long as you are really and

seriously interested.

But as long you are only interest is to find some faults in what is written

then you are just a fault-finder but not a companion one could walk together

with and share the adventures of the walk.

Werner

If the brain cells are the source of awareness or consciousness for the

case...what is it that is aware off brain cells? If all things are

perceptualy constructed in a brain, what is the nature of the brain that is

constructing consciousness?

All repartee is equally repartee, eh?

I don't need an " adult conversationalist " to clear up my views, that much is for

sure ;-).

So, you can stay unsure about what to do, if ya like.

Or you can stand on your head and spit wooden nickels, or sumthin... that'd be

interesting to see ;-).

Cheers...

Well, then, " it " is doing everything... 'member? " It " is raining outside, " it "

is people-ing, etc., according to Dan-ji.

I guess " It " makes more sense to ya than " awareness " , eh?

Or is it only when you disapprove of somebody's speech or behavior, that certain

words aren't " allowed " ?

When we're all cheerful and stuff, is the word " awareness " OK? :-p.

Could be both ways: fact or imagination. Like people saying all is

god...lets pray, he loves us. So being-it is a very " particular " perspective

:>))) not something BTW, like one among many facts...

Werner -

I'm aware, it's just that my awareness isn't a " thing " that makes other things

happen.

How do you know for sure something exists, such as a cell, if you're not aware

of it?

How do you know for sure what properties a cell has or doesn't have, without

being aware?
