Ha!

Awareness is not a belief, not cognized, and not verbalized.

Your existence as a body consciousness that is constructing itself through its

own neurons, is the belief!

I have no delusion about individual life after death. However, I have noticed

when reading Nisargadatta that he says to folks who still identify with the body

that they must undergo rebirth if that is their belief. How does this square

with Nis' teaching that reincarnation is not real and meant for the ignorant

masses?

this site is supposed to be inspired by the teachings of Nisargadatta. You

cannot have it both ways when someone dismisses you.

Well, that's just it, Douglas.

" I am " wants to have it its own way.

It wants to be there to know what is going on.

And to let others in on it.

Smiles,

Dan

P.S. This is why Nis. " meditated " on " I am " until it dissolved.

Or, one could say that " I am " was grabbed by awareness, and not released, until

it dissolved.

Which is a polite way to say " died. "
