If a hockey team changes its town, its owner, its manager, its players, and its

fans......is it still the same team?

......and why do so many people want to win an empty cup?

what is a " university " ?

the buildings may change..or be added onto..

the professors and lecturers constantly change..

as do the students..

and the offered curriculum and details within those courses too.

campuses sprawl and find external satellites..

names may even change for the institution..

or among those students and staff attending.

most certainly the identities of staff and students change.

it's an ever-changing phantasmagoria..

but it's considered " fixed " .

it's called the " university of ____

if it's a name of prestige...

many want to attend this place of no place or people.

why do we assume it's of a fixed nature?

what of the home you live in?

through hundreds of years different people..

different ownerships..

different additions and removals..

new roofs and walls and paints and stones..

features and faults..

is it in essence not a home but rather a hotel?

why would anyone want to live in a hotel and call it " home " ?

the cells in your body will have died/vanished and been replaced..

within the next seven years..

as they have done before every seven year span..

throughout it's lifetime..

yet you call that blob of squishy meat stuff " you " .

it's an ever changing phantasm too.

where's " you " in that ever changing protoplasm?

and even if not it's " you " ....where is that body?

who would want to inhabit an ever-changing..

living and dying..

hunk of flesh?

all vessels are empty.

but " everyone " wants one.

be it a cup..a home..a body..

or an opinion...changeable upon demand or circumstance.

none of that matters.

all is empty and all is change.

so what?

what's new?

..b b.b.

what is " america " ?

why would people sacrifice their bodies for it?

what is freedom..

why is it so desired?

what is a family?

what is " you " ?

none of the above is tangible or lasting.

everything imaginable is " empty " of substance.

illusion is in love with illusion.

eternity is in love with the creatures of time.

we're all in love with ourselves..

the lover and the loved are both meaningless.

but " you " wouldn't " be " without this emptiness.

guess what?

even " you " are nothing BUT emptiness.

and emptiness queries emptiness.....meaninglessly.

now how..why...where..when..

does any of that emptiness " occur " ?

and why should any of it 'seem " important?

" you " seem to want to " find out " .

you never will..

and even were that possible..

to what end?

there are no ends to no beginnings.

it's a role playing within games.

Go Detroit!

(whatever " Detroit " is)

Win that empty cup!

(whatever " win " means " )

the fans (which change with tides and times)..

are by and on your " side " .

why do so many want to ask empty questions..

regarding empty cups or emptiness itself?

the questioners are empty too.

emptiness wanting more emptiness.

it's fucking greedy i tell you.

Everything. New message here, new words, new thoughts, new body cells, new

smells, new feelings, new sounds since the last message.

Things appear as they do, because we are as they are.

So sure, we're more real than anything.

Everything depends on how we perceive it.

Therefore, it depends on us. We don't depend on it.

" us " ??

it's all codependent.

" you " are as " dependent " on " things " as the other way 'round.

" therefore " is a useless concept.

So is " codependent " .

It'd get pretty old, trying to hang onto that one.

I'm actually living on U.S. $500/month, after rent costs. About as minimal as

it gets, in the U.S. at least. No car here... I ride the bus.

well that's because nobody is in Detroit anymore.

contact the new GM CEO..

he's in Washington D.C. comrade.

well actually no..

he's in Germany today.

as they said..

here today gone tomorrow..

no no that wasn't it..it was..

Saudi Arabia and Egypt today..tomorrow Germany.

First he took Detroit..

then he'll take Berlin.

hey!

that's like my good bud from right here in Canada sang:

First We Take Manhattan

They sentenced me to twenty years of boredom

For trying to change the system from within

I'm coming now, I'm coming to reward them

First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

I'm guided by a signal in the heavens

I'm guided by this birthmark on my skin

I'm guided by the beauty of our weapons

First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

I'd really like to live beside you, baby

I love your body and your spirit and your clothes

But you see that line there moving through the station?

I told you, I told you, told you, I was one of those

Ah you loved me as a loser, but now you're worried that I just might win

You know the way to stop me, but you don't have the discipline

How many nights I prayed for this, to let my work begin

First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

I don't like your fashion business mister

And I don't like these drugs that keep you thin

I don't like what happened to my sister

First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

I'd really like to live beside you, baby ...

And I thank you for those items that you sent me

The monkey and the plywood violin

I practiced every night, now I'm ready

First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

I am guided......

Ah remember me, I used to live for music

Remember me, I brought your groceries in

Well it's Father's Day and everybody's wounded

First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

good ol' Leonard!

he played at being a zen monk for the longest time.

i knew he's wake up!

:-)

Well, you see what happens when I say " Go Penguins " ...

I'm more powerful than I look.

I won't say anything further.

good point.

it was never the same team, once.
