Learning About Kirtan

Agreed, if kirtan is performed by pure Vaishnavas, nothing could improve the efficiency. For neophytes on the path of Gaudiya Vaishnavism, what makes a kirtan, let's say in a towncenter, attractive?

First of all the melody should be according people's mentality, people's taste what they consider as very melodious. The kirtan performers should be dressed very nicely, after all uniform signals consensus, unity and agreement.
