Dear Shridhar ji & gurujis,

Parents of a girl were in search of a marriage hall and could get one vacant only on the 8th December,2008 and accordingly fixed the hall for their daughter's marriage on the same day(8/12/2008).Now after fixing the hall they want to find suitable Muhurtham and there seems to be some difficulty in fixing proper muhurtham for the prospective couple on that day and I therefore seek your guidance to help them. Groom & Bride birth data below.

Marriage on: 08-12-2008

Groom's DOB: 03-05-1974 / 10-30 AM / Hyderabad

Bride's DOB: 19-12-1976 / 10-05 AM / Chennai

In my opinion morning of 8-12-2008 between 6 AM & 7 Am seems ok but the ASC is Scorpio. Please guide.

Regards,

Anusha:pray:

Jupiter transit also takes place around this date.I have my own doubt whether there can be a muhurthan close to the transit time.Having fixed the date depending on the marriage hall availability, there seems to no other go for the parents, except conducting the marriage with some graha remedies,if warranted. Please help as and when you return and find time to spare.

Anusha Ji,

My software is still not fullt operative, hence the delay.

Having fixed date of marriage of the said couple, now job is to find out one of the most suitable Muhurt.

I have worked on it & find that Sagittarius Lagna & Sagittarius Navamsha is a good one.

Scorpio Lagna is not recommended by most of the exponents. Most opine that first half of Sagittarius is preferred than 2nd half. But here I do not find that first half can be a good one, so I preferred Vargottama rising sign - to which most of the exponents agree.

Please note that Muhurt of marriage is a very specialised job- should be left to experts only. If you want venture in this field, please update your knowledge first. To become astrological guide of some-one like this, is not recommeneded.

Best of luck.

Dear Shridhar Ji,

Thank you for the guidance.I have understood your preference of Sagittarius Vargottama for the Muhurat.

In fact I have not played any part in recomending the day of marriage. The parents themselves finalised the date on the basis of the hall availability.I just helped them through your good self for fixing an auspicious muhurta,as they were confused over the date.

Kind regards,

Anusha

Dear Shridhar Ji,

There is one doubt raised by the parents for your clarification.

The muhurta prefered by you on 8/12/08,Monday "Having fixed date of marriage of the said couple, now job is to find out one of the most suitable Muhurt.

I have worked on it & find that Sagittarius Lagna & Sagittarius Navamsha is a good one."

So the muhurta time seems to fall between 8-51 & 9-02 AM on 8/12/08, Monday.

Rahu kal also falls between 7-30 AM & 9-00 AM on Mondays. Can they still take that time as Good Muhurta.

Please advise.

Deep regards,

Anusha

Anusha Ji,

"Rahu Kaal" has no significance in our Vedic astrology, like Kaal Sarpa Dosha. For details please go through my blog mentioned below.

Further, astrology is a matter of faith first.

Now for selection of any other Navamsha, they may consult local astrologer.

Vedic electional astrology has no reference of Rahu Kaal. Yet it is feared the most in elections resulting colossal waste of time. Its duration on weekdays is incorrectly conveyed by newspapers & Indian ephemerides. ...

Shridhar Ji,

Thank you.

I followed the directions beolw and on opening the city I find only the

timings for some fixed dates for some other year, but not 2008.

I don't find any column to fill in Sun rise/set timing.I do not know whether I have gone wrong anywhere.

Please guide.

Some other important cities like Chennai from the southern part may also be included.

Anusha Ji,

The website was long back made & I had / have no time to modify the same.

You are right, by filling the times corresponding to specific weekday; you can get the starting & ending moments of the various Miuhurtas / Kaalas - there are inbuilt calculations made therein.

Should I find time, I shall update the website; but it serves the purpose of the readers like you, who can fill in the data themselves.

ShridharJi,

1.I went to"Home" page of the site www.besttime-astrology.com

2.Clicked on “ Elections for you – your Muhurtas”

3.Opened the page "Astrological guidance to initiate the life activities at a selected time for the best fruitful results "

4.Then I clicked on "Hyderabad" This page shows Kaals & Abhijin muhurat

for a few sets of week days and dates but there is no OPTION column

to fill in Sun Rise & Sun Set against a desired week day to know the

Kaals & Muhurats for the given Sun Rise/Set.

You may kindly check the page,if there is any thing missing or if am at a mistake, please correct me.

Can we find travel muhurat also similary for a desired date/day? Please guide.

Anusha ji & readers,

You and all are welcome.

If I can be of any help to anyone, I shall certainly do my job in assistance.

But I have my limitations, as I feel I should guide in respect of electional astrology ( Muhurt) - the subject which I have read .
