Gaura Purnima coincides with Holi?

Hare Krishna everyone,

 

first I'd like to apologize if this is the wrong forum to be posting such a question.

 

Today in New Zealand is Gaura Purnima. I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me how many days this lasts for and also what is the actual day of holi so i can notify my parents. Different sources are saying holi is on a different day.

Last year I hid in my Guest Room in Godrum, near Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur Prabhupada's home and office, and I still got nailed with colors! All in good fun.

 

There is a lot of drunken debauchery that goes on during Holi, be careful if you are in India.

Does Gaura Purnima just last for one day? Or does it end after sunday?

It is a one day event. The next day is the Festival of Jagannatha Misra. If you can perform a fast until the Moon rises it is especially nice.
