They are patterns or motifs, usually depicting Nature that are drawn on the floor or a wall with powdered color made out of natural vegetable dyes. However, Im not sure where the word Rangolis was derived or its origins. Does anyone have any clue? Feel free to ask me any questions that you have about Vedic religion and related yogic practices.
