mahak 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2007 Haribol, folks. Short on time, the dead are calling, but here is a thread starter about focus. Ill do the story today, elaborate latah, shaka, pau hana, oh, and hare krsna, ys mahaksadasa .. Drona had a plan on how to see which of his students was most qualified to learn the war art of Brahmastra. He set a target many meters away, and then he gathered his students. He instructed, "Bring that bird in the tree down without causing lasting suffering." First, Yudhisthira took aim, and Drona asked, "What do you see?" Yudhisthira replied, I see a bird, the tree, the sky, the surrounding habitat." "Remove your arrow", drona commanded. Duryodhana, Bhima, Dhusasana, Nakula, Sahadeva, and even Drona's favored son, Aswattama, all replied similarly, and were told to disarm. When Arjuna took aim, Drona asked, "Describe the bird." Arjuna replied, "I cannot". Then Drona asked, "what can you describe". Arjuna replied, "I can only see a very small orb with a shifting pupil." Drona said, "Release your arrow", and the target figure immediately disintegrated, which would have been an immediate and painless end had the target been alive. ... Now that is what I call "FOCUS". Hare krsna, ys, mahaksadasa
