Krsna is a boy. Nanda Maharaja is a man. Subal is a boy.

Radha is a girl. Yasoda is a mother. Lalita is a girl.

Balaram is a boy, when he is Balaram, and when he becomes Ananga Manjari, she is a girl.

The soul has a gender in the sense that Krishna is the only male and our souls are all female. In a sense I think this means that traditionally females are very caring, loving and serve their partners with devotion that males sometimes may not display. So we are all female in the sense that our only goal is to serve, care and love Krishna.

Otherwise there is no duality for the Jiva (Soul).
