Dear Srimaan Deepak,

namaskar. Visti-ji has already given suggestions. I will briefly go into a bit details.

In your chart, indeed some good yogas are present. First we should look at 10th house the most important house of the horoscope. 3rd and 6th lord Guru is exalted in the 10th house with 10th lord Chandra. 3rd lord in the 10th gives a lot of initiative (and also sudden rise in life). 6th lord is exaltation indicates you will be a good problem solver and carry good knowledge to solve problems presented to you. This is a Gajakesari yoga in the Arudha Lagna and gives Hamsa Mahapurusa Yoga. In a few years this yoga will bloom. Now both Chandra and Guru are in the nakshatra of Sani Deva and hence facing avaguna, and Sani is in Purvaphalguni nakshatra which is lorded by Sukra lord of Lagna and 8th. Hence some dissasitfaction as well as fame in career front can be expected. Now, 10th lord being in the 10th house, Chaturaseetika Sama Dasa is applicable Similarly, Lagnesh Sukra is in the 7th house so Dwisaptati Sama Dasa is applicable as well. However, 10th house's primary karaka is

Budha as not well placed from AK Sukra. So Dwisaptati Sama Dasa is better applicable. Vimsottari Chandra is applicable as well.

 

Let us use Dwisaptati Sama Dasa for analysis. You are running Budha- Sukra Dasa. Budha is with Surya and can give some results of Surya. Surya is Badhakesha and 11th lord and in the 8th house. Budha is 9th and 12-th lord in the 8th house. This shows difficulties and obstructions to fortune and gains. Further Sukra is with Mangal and during Sukra antardasa, Mangal will give some results. Mangal is lord of 2nd and 7th in the 7th house (its Maranakarakasthana) this these two houses, finances and business will suffer. Being in own house the suffering is not terrible. Mangal is Bharani Nakshatra ruled by Sukra and Thus Sukra is nakshatra dispositor of 7th lord and 10th lord's Nakshatra dispositor Sani. This is good. Further the bhoga of Budha-Sukra is in the 6th house also. Further difficulties can be faced in the dasa of Budha-Sani starting March 2007 if the badhaka problems are not remedied.

 

Now, having analysed difficulties, let us see the problem areas of your horoscope. First, there is a Kaalasarpa yoga broken by Vargottama Sani (sorrow) and Sukra in the 7th. Sukra being AK under conjunction/aspect of two malefics (Rahu, Mangal) shows Kaalaatra Shaapa and relationship difficulties. Further Budha is vargottama and conjoins Surya and aspected by Sani. This is curse of relatives and friends and Budha being the 9th lord, this is past birth. Budha is disposited by AK/Lagnesha/8th lord, thus the curses are allied. Further, Sani is conjoining Rahu-Ketu axis with Gulika as well, and that too in the Badhakasthana. This is severe. This indicated Pitri Dosha. This also gets aspect of Mangal (rasi-drishti), who is in the 12-th from Badhakesa. This together constitutes a Preta Badhaka giving misery and worries and also snake bite (have you had any ?). There is also indications of ill-maintenance of deity in the past life. This deity is Sri Krsna (indicated by Budha).

This has to be remedied.

 

(1) Consult a learned priest and do Parvana Sraddha of your forefathers and do tarpana every year. Do Tila Homa as well, with consultation with purohit.

 

(2) Regularly offer Milk, Ghee and Sweetmeats to Lord Krsna along with Worship and ask for forgiveness of past life's mistakes.

 

(3) Sukra in in the 8th house of Navamsa with the Navamsa lord. This indicates, obstacles in life (Navamsa lagna in the 6th from AK) caused by own weaknesses, and diseases therefrom. 12-th house from Karakaamsa is conjoined by Rahu, Mangal and Chandra of which Rahu is strongest being in moolatrikona rasi. The combination indicates that your Ishta is Mother Durga or Chandika. Please worship her with utmost devotion. Rahu is lord of 6th from AmK (Mangal) and hence indicates Paalana devata as well. 9th house from AK is empty and its lord joins Surya indicating Sri Raama. Please worship Sri Raama with the Raama Taraka Mantra || Sri Raama Jaya Raama Jaya Jaya Raama ||. This is very good for the curses. In the Rasi Chart, Ketu is in the 5th house. This house shows the deities we readily like and here Ketu is posited, indicating Ganapati. Ganapati is guarding the doors to Mother Parvati (Mother Durga) and hence worship of Lord Ganapati is essential. This will enable you to plan

properly for the future instead of suffering from frustration of overambition and underachievement. Further 5th lord is Sani and joins Rahu. This again indicates that you will like Mother Durga very much. Whether you like or not, you must worship your Ishta Devi.

 

(4) Both the curses are strong, Budha is in 8th in vargottama with Surya and Sani is also Vargottama; Sukra is AK, 8th lord and Lagnesh and conjoins a strong malefic and aspected by Rahu. Hence 11th and 8th is the source of troubles. 11th house is for gains or fulfillment of desires (5th-future from the 7th), friends etc. 11th house also in the manifestation of your sadripus (6th from the 6th). 8th house is rina (loans), diseases of genetic kind, defects from birth etc. Notice that you are running the Mula dasa of the 8th lord Sukra starting from May, 2004. Further Sukra is in Kaala Sashtiamsa.. Sukra is in chara navamsa but Budha is in sthira navamsa and in dusthana of Rasi chakra.

Dear Sourav and Deepak, Namaskar.

The real core problem is that Rahu/Shani yoga.

Firstly as they are both fourth and fifth lords, their conjunction shows

that the future is not 'happening' and this is causing depression

(fourth lord) and mental unrest.

Secondly as this causes Daridra yoga from the Arudha lagna, and involves

the second and seventh houses as well, this severely blocks the persons

rise in life... no matter which nice yogas are otherwise present.

Thirdly and most importantly, these are placed in fifth from the

atmakaraka... this causes a complete demotivation of the individual and

needs to be remedied somehow otherwise the person doesn't wanto do anything.

So the remedy is in making the fifth house auspicious to begin with, and

then waiting for the temporary 'daridra' to finish.

Dear Visti ji,

 

My husband's chart has this combination. 4th and 5th lord conjunct.

He has had the feeling that his future is not 'happening' for a long

time.

I see the following afflictions in his chart:

1. Bhava shraapa w.r.t. 3rd, 7th and 10th house.

2. 4th lord conjunct 5th lord (AK)

3. 6th lord conjunct badhaka conjunct AK.

4. Sa ( 11th and 12th lord - PiK) in MKS

5. Rh/Ke debilitated in D9

 

I see the following strong points in his chart.

1. AK in 5th house (own house)

2. 9th lord exalted in D9

3. Dharmakarmadhipati yoga (Ju-Ma) in 4th house

 

Also, right now Shani is transiting Karka.

 

Do you think the stagnation in career problem is due to 4th lord

conjunct 5th lord (badhaka conjunct AK). This combination is in 2nd

from AL.

 

If so, then how do we time progress in career?
