Radhe Krishna,

Radhe krishna, krsnaji, I am thankful to you for your messaage at #13.

I am of the traditional view that manthra is always kept a secret and it is passed on by a guru to a sishya. I have pramaana for this from sources other than gaudiya sampradaaya. Somewhere in my mind, there was a click that earlier gaudiya aacharyaas should have opined same way about this.

and you have provided the quote from Hari Bhakthi vilasam.

To me having a guru means you have someone to completely surrender to. You have absolute faith in them, and offer your entire being with full confidence that they will take you to Krsna.

Radhe Krishna,

Very rightly said gaur hari.

Guror anugraheneiva pumaan poorna prashanthaye

it is only by the mercy of guru, a human becomes a complete personality.

Lord krishna has demonstrated this to the world by becoming a sishya of sandeepani and the guru bakthi he had for his guru. he redeemed the son of sandeepani who was lost in the ocean believed to be dead.

Complee surrender to guru is the action which would straight away lift a person to the lotus feet of hari.

Radhe Krishna
