Guest guest
Dear Chandrashekar ji ,Weiss ji and other respected members Inspite of having learned from the basics, one(the beginners!) tends to assume reults based on stand alone placements and yogas, without considering factors like, Position, Aspects,Rulership Nature etc. That too when the author of an article explains things with well crafted examples!Such was the case, shrapit yoga article, the author trying to impose or generalise his trial and error experience. Thanks for the right guidance. Chandrashekar ji, I had a chance to look at your chart from the SJC files section, while trying to understand this Rahu/Mars/Saturn Conjunction. My understandings will be more or less of an elementary level, as you are aware of the depth of my knowledge :-) As per Jataka Chandrika Rahu or Ketu gives good results if they join trikona lords in kendra. In your case Mars is a trikona lord.Saturn is the lord of the 2nd and third houses(thereby lording kutumba stana).Again as you have said before, 'Sthana rakshathi Mandaha',Saturn should protect the house in which it is placed, kalathra bhava in your case. Thus Rahu,Saturn and Mars can give good results. Also it is being aspected by jupiter the ascendant lord from labha sthana, forming Guru Mangala as well. Moreover a Gajakesari yoga and Dharma karma adhipati yoga are also present in the chart.Jupiter is aspecting Puthrasthana, thereby helping progeny. Some of these are repeating in Navamsa as well.If you have time teach me to analyse more :-) This helps one to understand that one should not go by stand alone placement or aspect based yogas, and assume results. I have one similar question here, which i had asked before,ie Brahmin Shapa.I have read that if Jupiter is being aspected by Saturn or Mars ,there is a Brahmina Shapa. In that case what is the difference between Guru Mangala and Brahmin shapa? So are there more factors to be considered. Guest guest
Dear Pradeep, You have understood the logic behind hora very well.As to Bramhana Shapa and for that matter other shapas, I have a sloghtly different point of view.I think that the shapas being of previous birth, one will have to get their phala when the time becomes right. This is part of destiny and I personally do not like to be obssessed by them. Guru Shani aspects usually give a understanding of Adhyatma and Guru Mangal aspect can give one Mark of Shiva, certainly an auspicious happening. In light of this , I personally feel that shapas are seen very casually without looking in to the saptavargaj Bala of the planets. Shapas if really effective are difficult to get rid of as they form part of Dhrudhamula Karma. Jyotish being the science of giving succour to those ho are in difficulty, one's knowing about some problem to which there is no solution, to me is infructious. One might find my logic difficult to digest. Look at it this way, Raja Dashrath had to suffer Putra Dukkha on account of Shapa he received and though Rama was God incarnate he could not remove the effects of teh shapa. Puranas are replete with examples of such shapas and their effects. Of course this is my personal opinion and other more learned than me may hold different opinions. Guest guest
Dear Chandra shekhar ji Thanks for the reply. If at all i have grasped a bit of basic principles of hora, then it is due to the company of learned and respected members in .I consider this as a 'mun janma sukrutham' (good deeds of past or ancestors) to be in company with you all.Another saying is ''Mulla poompodi eyttu kidakkum kallinum undamoru Saurabhyam'' -It means even those stones which are in the company of jasmine flower pollens would have some fragrance. I hope the blessings of the Gurus will help me to continue this learning, which is vast like the ocean of music. Regarding Brahmna shapa,i was curious because some astrologers recommend remedies or prathi vidhees. Now i have to read more about Dhrudhamula karma ( i believe this is something which cannot be overridden by good karmas in present life).Bhagawan Shri Ramachandra jis example was good enough.I have seen this analysis by Sanjay ji somewhere on the net. Also i have read somewhere a statement from Chanakya which i am citing as, A calf would be able to identify its mother even from a flock of thousands of cows.Similarly One's Karmas or actions will definitely identify him(the originator). So thus we have to accept the reactions for our actions. Thanks for this.
