Guest guest
Hi! I'm Tarlochan Singh Rajput from Malaysia. Recently I bought Ayurvedic herbs from India, through my mother. The herbs are AMLA, ASHWAGANDHA, BRAHMI, SHILAJIT & NEEM. I needed to take such herbs to improve my health and is approved by the herbalist of India. My problem is I do not know in what amount should I take and when to take. I cant contact the herbalist due to some reasons. Recntly I took AMLA powder and i got bad stomach upsets, probably i have taken it too much. Kindly please anyone guide me how to take such herbs. Please tell me whether can I mix all the herbs in one and how much(teaspoon) should I take. Please do tell me which of the powdered herbs should not be taken at one time or vice versa. Thanks. Guest guest
Namaskar Tarlochan Singh ji, i appriciate your interest towards ayurveda. Each of the herbs you got from india are utilised in many diseases. coming to the point to improve your health first you have to asses your body type(vata, pitta, kapha)for which go through this link www.magicofayurveda.com. Amala is best suitable for pitta bodies for maintainace of good health; if you are pitta type, Take 1/2tea spoon of amla powder, soak in 1/2 glass of water over night ,drink this water next day morning on empty stomach. if you are kapha or vata type you can take "ashwagandha" in the form of "ashwandha Ksheerapaka", once daily morning or at night.(if taken at night it gives natural sound sleep). Praparation: Mix 2 spoons of ashwandha to 100 ml of cow milk, and add 200ml of water ,boil till water is evoparated, add required quantity of sugar. You can add brahmi 1/4 spoon to this. The general dose of Shilajit is 250mg to 500 mg you can mix ashwandha and neem equally and take 1/2 spoon for skin diseases. shijit 500mg, neem 1/4 spoon, amla1/4 spoon, ashwandha 1/4 spoon combined together, taken twicw daily are very useful for the diabetics. this a very precise information, if you require further information keep in touch Dr.Venu Gopal Rao.T M.D(Ayu) AGASTHYA AYURVEDIC CENTER +91 98492-66012 www.tvgayurveda.com --- chanliddar <chanliddar wrote: > > Hi! > > I'm Tarlochan Singh Rajput from Malaysia. > Recently I bought Ayurvedic herbs from India, > through my mother. Guest guest
Dear Mr.Trilochan, First of all let me know why you want to take these herbs? Do you have any problems? Who prescribed you these herbs? In what doses? I would advice yopu to send the details of your problems, after going thro' the same I will be in a better position to guide you. Don't worry some people do get G.I. upset with even Amla. In fact Amla is one of the safe laxative ! It makes a point in what dose you have taken Amla. Why do you require Neem every day? What is your age? Are you aware of the fact it may not be safer to take Neem for longer period daily ! Why do you want to have Ashwagandha, Brahmi ,Sheelajit ,Amla as a Rasayana Drugs? As a immunomodulator? You may even visit my personal site www.ayurvision.com Thanking you, With regards, Prof.Dr.Aashish Phadke,Mumbai,India
