Dear Guru brothers & sisters,

Jai Gurudev.

I am trying to put together a list of tasks/avenues for publicising

and increasing the membership of the Mantra Tantra Yantra Vigyan

magazine.

The basic idea behind this is to spread and propagate revered

Gurudev's message to more and more people, so that they too, obtain

benefit from this.

This is the era of advertising and publicity, and we , as disciples &

sadhaks , have to join together and utilise the marketing mediums to

spread the message. People tend to get attracted only to sweet,

sugary advertisements.

Awareness and enthusiasm about spiritual sciences has increased in

India & abroad in recent years. Many self-styled tantriks &

astrologers-of-world-fame have started producing copycat literature,

and a lot of spurious and fraud material on Mantra - Tantra,

Astrology etc. has started appearing in print , television and

internet. Many people have started to get misled by this, and these

copycats will not be able to satisy them.

There is a STRONG danger that these new-initiates will start blaming

and doubting the efficacy of the knowledge & science itself; instead

of the copycat-gurus.

We have a duty to propagate and spread the light of the true

knowledge. To do this, we will need to market the Mantra Tantra

Yantra Vigyan magazine through various mediums. I have jotted

together a basic list of proposals. Please think, and contribute your

ideas to publicise. Moroever, we should implement these ideas in our

local areas to introduce more people. Knowledge increases by

spreading, and as a disciple & sadhak, it is our main duty to

increase the magazine membership.

a. Putting an advertisement in local newspaper about Magazine ,

Sadhana Camp etc. (cud be costly for a single person, however 3-4

persons can join together and do this)

b. Printing and distributing pamphlets for sadhana camps etc. (can,

and sud be done while organising a sadhana camp)

c. Printing and putting posters about Mantra Tantra Yantra Vigyan

magazine in public areas and other high-visibility-spots (like buses,

trains etc.) (cud be costly & timeconsuming. However, the lifetime &

visibility of ad is pretty large and effective. 3-4 persons can join

together)

d. Placing an ad about Mantra Tantra Yantra Vigyan in local cable tv

(highly effective, and reaches many houses. )

e. Organising Guru Sadhana and pooja in local temple on every

Thursday and/or 3rd. 8th & 21st day every month. (Has curiosity

factor for regular temple visitors, and they might participate)

f. Talk to local public libraries, and put in 2-3 copies of magazine

(both english & hindi) in the library. (effective, however library

personnel sud take care of magazine, and keep it in library/issue for

short-time .)

g. Introduce your work colleagues/fellow students and people in your

friend circle/relatives to revered Gurudev & Mantra Tantra Yantra

Vigyan. Encourage them to become member. Don't be shy (!) in telling

people about this.

h. Talk to your local book sellers and get them to stock the

magazine. They, anyway get a good commission on the Magazine sale.

i. Publicise on internet.

j. Devote some time every month (eg. every Thursday) towards this

effort.

k. If you are a doctor/lawyer, then you may keep a copy of magazine

in your waiting room, so that people can browse thru it. However,

refrain from giving it free to anyone, as people don't recognise the

value of anything that they get free.

I have created a folder called "mtyv membership" on the

group. This message is stored on this folder as file called "initial

proposal". You can go there by clicking on files.....

You may add your comments as a separate file within this folder

itself, or u may send email replies.

It looks like that a lot of group members want to see only Sadhana &

spirituality related message traffic on the group. In recent days, we

have seen at least two "" requests, which is very bad

news. Probably these people wanted to see only Sadhana related

messages.

Thanks a lot for your time and patience in reading this message.

Awaiting your comments, Please keep the ideas flowing. Afterwords we

can put it on the "brinkster website".

This is happening almost everywhere including local branches

of Siddhashram Sadhak Parivar because people prefer fiction not

facts. People want miracles. They won't believe you if you tell

them the reality. We must sort out a solution and send it to

Gurudham, so that firm guideline can be worked out for branches

of SSP.

If they want it, we must provide them, in a balanced manner,

steering them from fiction to fact.

Thanks to you for your time, effort and devotion.

Dear Shri Arvindji

I do agree with your idea of spreading the good message all around.

But I have some reservations on this. The way you have suggested is

very effective and we can increase the r list in a very fast

manner. But that boom will not be permanent. We need devotees and

true sadhaks not fly by night peoples. I think we should do some more

planning and try to popular our magazine in a stablize manner. As a

first step, I think we can use the e-mail as a medium. For this we

may prepare a good letter/e-mail describing the features of MTYM and

other spritual benefits attached, in a good manner. AFter this, we

can request our memebers to forward that e-mail from their e-

mail account to atleast 5-10 persons and sending a copy to a common e-

mail account that we can delete later. By this method alone, we can

cover around 500 persons in one go. AFter this, we may gradually

shift our focus to any other method.

But before making this publicly open, just give a thought to the

response also. Because I think people may not take it wrongly.

Jai Gurudev,

Thanks for your comments.

I feel that most of the people don't care much about God while the

going is good (Of course there are many exceptions to this). If one

has a stable job, a good family life, healthy & wealthy life, one

tends to stay within this "maya" (delusion), and doesn't care. One

turns to God only in case of disasters eg. problem in job, diseases,

enemities, family problems etc. etc.

Of course, there are some people who aren't satisfied by material

life, and aspire for spiritual awareness, sense of fulfilment,

meditation etc. They are the constant and pure seekers of Divine

knowledge.

Now, if one performs Sadhanas, then one should not face these

problems. Or, rather, one can solve these problems by performing

Sadhanas.

Our ancient sages knew about this, and they developed quick-acting

sadhanas to aid the common man. This knowledge is a gift to us from

our ancestors and poojya Gurudev; and we should forward this

knowledge to others , so that they benefit. Sadhanas exist for

"parhit" (to help the needy, the diseased, the poor, to elevate the

downtrodden in society etc.). It is our duty to spread this message

to them.

Mostly, one comes to Sadhana_world with lots of doubts and

apprehensions. However, as (s)he starts getting success, the

confidence, faith and devotion starts developing. Some people stay on

this path, and achieve more success. Others forget about Sadhanas and

go back into "maya" (delusion) once their problems are solved.

I will not worry about "fly-by-night" people, because, they won't get

anything here. Of course, if they wish to resolve their problems thru

this, then they are welcome to join. Our job is just to become a

medium to spread this message to every human on this planet, if I may

say so. Let everyone be aware that such "spiritual sciences" exist,

like everyone knows about "pepsi cola" on this planet!! Revered

Gurudev will take care of the rest. It really pains me to see only

73 members on this list. just 73. Only 73 people on internet are

aware about us and our message!! And two of them have sent mails to

. It is really shameful. Everyone knows about &

altavista. Even junk groups have thousands of members. Why don't they

know about us?

Everyone is familiar with "asharam bapuji" or "brahma-kumari" or

osho/rajneesh" and other self-styled acharyas, who just give some

discourses from xyz book. I am not criticising them, I am merely

pointing out that we have a real, practical, authentic knowledge to

share with rest of the world. We have something which is million

times more powerful and effective than pure bhakti , basic-meditation

or singing of hymns/bhajans. We have a very powerful legacy, and we

represent true knowledge. Why are we unknown? Staying unknown will

extinguish the little flame of knowledge that our Gurudev lighted.

Let the word spread to the masses, let everyone be aware about it. I

know that most of the people will come only to expect quick miracles,

but let them come.

Your idea about forwarding to email addresses sounds attractive,

However, it has to be done very carefully to avoid getting negative

publicity, or becoming treated as a trash/junk mail.

We had discussed about receiving junk/angry flames or trash responses

on the website before. We had some concerns about this group becoming

a trash-pot. However, I guess that with good moderating policy&effort

to delete all trash responses, we might solve this issue. Dogs will

bark only if an Elephant moves across the road. But the elephant has

to get up & walk before dogs start barking! I think that we are

big/mature enough to handle such flames.

I had prepared a sample email some time ago, by "pirating" stuff from

the website. I am attaching it again here. Any comments on

improving/changing it? :

Jai Gurudev.

Dear Arvind Sharma,

I fully endorse your views about the attitude of

people that only if they have trouble, they come to

perform Sadhana and once their problem is solved, they

dont want to turn back. This is the case with every

one who does not understand Poojya Gurudev and His

interest in the welfare of his Sishyas. A true Sishya

will go on trying his best to spread the knowledge he

derived from the Poojya Gurudev for the welfare of the

common man. One more point (believe it or not)I want

to stress is that anybody who is having purva janma

link (link from previous birth)will automatically be

drawn into this net of Gurubandhu and definitely

he/she has to come to this.

You had also mentioned about large number of persons

becoming members in other Groups and only 73 in this

group. Our group may be small to-day but it is bound

to grow like a Banyan tree with showering of blessings

of Poojya Gurudev. Regarding your disappointment that

two have already opted out of this, I wish to mention

that only those who are blessed by Poojya Gurudev will

continue for ever and others will come and go and this

activity will continue as long as selfishness exists

in human mind. We need not bother about this or get

disillusioned. So long as we are on the correct path

and we are in the noble path of spreading the message

of Poojya Gurudev, nothing will stop us from proper

growth and we will definitely have the full blessings

of Poojya Gurudev.

Poojya Gurudev used say that any work well begun is

half done. You have started in right earnest and that

is a good sign for proper development. Nothing will

deter us. Go ahead. Gurudev is with us always.

JAI GURUDEV

Dear Arvind,

Okay! Let's do it.

> It really pains me to see only 73 members on this list. just 73.

> Only 73 people on internet are aware about us and our message!!

Size doesn't always matter. As long as we are aware of our duties,

we can overcome millions.

We are not well known because our powerful legacy is not immune

to misuse. In wrong hands, it could be deadly.

> Your idea about forwarding to email addresses sounds attractive,

I would not advice unsolicited mailing.

How would we use this mail without being declared spammers?

Jai Gurudev,Thanks for your comments.I feel that most of the people don't care

much about God while the going is good (Of course there are many exceptions to

this). If one has a stable job, a good family life, healthy & wealthy life, one

tends to stay within this "maya" (delusion), and doesn't care. One turns to God

only in case of disasters eg. problem in job, diseases, enemities, family

problems etc. etc. Of course, there are some people who aren't satisfied by

material life, and aspire for spiritual awareness, sense of fulfilment,

meditation etc. They are the constant and pure seekers of Divine

knowledge. Now, if one performs Sadhanas, then one should not face these

problems. Or, rather, one can solve these problems by performing Sadhanas. Our

ancient sages knew about this, and they developed quick-acting sadhanas to aid

the common man. This knowledge is a gift to us from our ancestors and poojya

Gurudev; and we should forward this knowledge to others , so that they benefit.

Sadhanas exist for "parhit" (to help the needy, the diseased, the poor, to

elevate the downtrodden in society etc.). It is our duty to spread this message

to them.Mostly, one comes to Sadhana_world with lots of doubts and

apprehensions. However, as (s)he starts getting success, the confidence, faith

and devotion starts developing. Some people stay on this path, and achieve more

success. Others forget about Sadhanas and go back into "maya" (delusion) once

their problems are solved. I will not worry about "fly-by-night" people,

because, they won't get anything here. Of course, if they wish to resolve their

problems thru this, then they are welcome to join. Our job is just to become a

medium to spread this message to every human on this planet, if I may say so.

Let everyone be aware that such "spiritual sciences" exist, like everyone knows

about "pepsi cola" on this planet!! Revered Gurudev will take care of the rest.

It really pains me to see only 73 members on this list. just 73. Only 73 people

on internet are aware about us and our message!! And two of them have sent

mails to . It is really shameful. Everyone knows about &

altavista. Even junk groups have thousands of members. Why don't they know

about us? Everyone is familiar with "asharam bapuji" or "brahma-kumari" or

osho/rajneesh" and other self-styled acharyas, who just give some discourses

from xyz book. I am not criticising them, I am merely pointing out that we have

a real, practical, authentic knowledge to share with rest of the world. We have

something which is million times more powerful and effective than pure bhakti ,

basic-meditation or singing of hymns/bhajans. We have a very powerful legacy,

and we represent true knowledge. Why are we unknown? Staying unknown will

extinguish the little flame of knowledge that our Gurudev lighted. Let the word

spread to the masses, let everyone be aware about it. I know that most of the

people will come only to expect quick miracles, but let them come. Your idea

about forwarding to email addresses sounds attractive, However, it has to be

done very carefully to avoid getting negative publicity, or becoming treated as

a trash/junk mail. We had discussed about receiving junk/angry flames or trash

responses on the website before. We had some concerns about this group becoming

a trash-pot. However, I guess that with good moderating policy&effort to delete

all trash responses, we might solve this issue. Dogs will bark only if an

Elephant moves across the road. But the elephant has to get up & walk before

dogs start barking! I think that we are big/mature enough to handle such

flames.I had prepared a sample email some time ago, by "pirating" stuff from

the website. I am attaching it again here. Any comments on improving/changing

Dear Guru Bhai

Jay Guru Dev

There was a coverage on " Remote Viewing " An experimental use of this

Sadhana by NASA on the National Geographic Channel.Remote viewing used by

NASA to search for missing equipment and people (mostly at war like

situation). Experimented through imatures who think that this is gifted by

Nature (God) not through solely practice. Very interesting. But not on the

right direction. They do not emphasise about that you can achieve it by

practice (Sadhna) and no mention of Hindu Researchers (Rishi Munies) who

have found that it can be done and scripted how you can get it and practiced

and made people practiced.

Any way it is worth watching if it is retelecast by the channel. Some mile

Stone on Sat Guru Dev's proclamation of Hinduism and Hindu Bigyan (Hindu
