Prabhupada's guru BSS wrote that religious institutions are dams that stop the living water of the flow of pure devotional service.

 

A dam is temporary holding place of water. Otherwise you will face flood or draught.

Prabhupada served Krsna in loving relationship though it was in his very old age. Because of his love towards Krsna, Krsna remains under His control and even Lord Krsna himself wants to serve Prabhupada the way he served Him. That is the message Krsna had given through Bragavat Gita which is always true for any Krsna's devotee.

Yes, it is possible to predict death. Evidence? Raja Pariksit. I believe during some sort of a birth ceremony, it is said in the Bhagavatam that it was predicted by an astrologer that he will die from a snake bite.

 

I think it is possible to know where a person will be going after death by their actions in this life. It is really complex, however, because we have choice and if you win a million dollars according to your chart then it is still your choice as to how you would spend that money.

Everybody knows that astrologers are adept at reading birth charts.Well,thats what most of the astrologers do, but is there any astrologer who can also predict death ? Also, someone told me that after a person dies there are people

who can predict where the person has gone by looking at the date and time of death!

Is this possible? Can death be predicted and can a persons destination be known after death? Your comments are invited.

Where is death? When there is a life after leaving current body? Why to predict all nonsense. Read Prabhupada and Preace Prabhupada.

Will Mulsims soon become the majority in India? They are having more children and of course are allowed to have many wives. Soon Muslims may be majority religion in India, in Europe, just as they are in the Middle East. If Hinduism is not preserved in India, than the future of Hinduism lies outside of India. But to preserve Hinduism in India, here are some suggestions

 

1. Hindus in India need to have larger families. Bringing souls into this world into a dharmic household is a great service to the world, and to the souls on the astral plane whose spiritual progress may very well depend in what household they incarnate.

 

2. Hindus in India need to be allowed (not obligated) to be married to more than one wife, just as Muslims in India. This should only be done if all parties are willing... but the option should be there, as it was in ancient times for Hindus.

 

3. Hindus need to instruct their children in Hindu-dharma. All Hindu children should be as fluent in their beliefs and practices as Muslim & Christian children are.

 

4. Hindus of all sects, races, and castes, need to respect one another. Honoring our differences, but not disparaging one another or our respective sects. United we stand, divided we fall.

 

5. Hindus must lead by example by showing that Hinduism is the greatest religion of Ahimsa, love and compassion, a light for the entire world. The highest form of dharmic living is living a life of love and compassion. Hindus must honor all life, and respect all life as divine. Recognizing no distinction in caste, sex or race. To show our love and respect for all beings, Hindus should Greet Hindus and non-Hindus alike with Namaste.

 

6. Hindus must spread the divine teachings of Sanatana Dharma to those who are interested.

Actually, his body is spiritual. It always was spiritual, just sometimes we see it as material or subtle. Srila Prabhupada gave the expanation on a morning walk in Bombay on Feb. 23, 1974. It's a little to long to post here. Listen to the tape (74-014) and then read it on the Bhaktivedanta Vedabase. It's an eye-opener!

Thus Krsna is whole universe, again He is supreme person holding flute in His hand.

So for those the institution helps with their development of bhakti then let them stay and assist. For example for the people just stopped eating meat and just stopped drugging, it serves a purpose. For the homeless and hungry meat eating drug addicted persons then yes it is helpful for them.

 

So all glories anyone helping those souls.

 

However if the institution not helping you personally then just move on. Wipe the dust from your feet and move on as Jesus advised.

 

BTW the whole concept of ISKCON is the "body of whoever" came from Christian theology and Christianity. Prabhupada pretty much relied on Western people raised in Christianity to get his whole KC Movement going.

So the people he was instructing just knew Christian tattva and Christian concepts and Christian siddhanta.

 

Prabhupada was familiar with this Christian siddhanta having attended Scottish Churches College for his schooling. So he received a pretty heavy dose himself of Christian theology/ frame of reference/ world view. So it seems to me that he was just using this whole idea of "the body of" to enthuse and inspire neophyte devotees.

 

Even how Prabhupada presented siddhanta it seems to be basically to inspire and enliven people who were raised in Christian worldview, such as to say things like "the jiva fell from Vaikuntha" which would be analogous to "Adam and Eve" or "Adam and Steve" [as the case may be]'s "fall from the Garden of Eden".

 

Basically it seems to me that he was just trying to make a point for time, place, and circumstances in my opinion, based on the information I have today at this point in time. Seems as if he was trying to get his congregation "all fired up" and "enthusiastic" to "press on this Krsna Consciousness Movement."

 

However I think he was pretty cool guy because it seems very funny to me his droll appraisals at times of his sisya and the cryptic and sarcastic remarks he made to them. Such as "Krsna has only given me third class men, how am I supposed to do anything?", "You will become intelligent when you are eighty years old!!!!" [to a personal servant], and "The karmis are in maya? YOU are in maya!" [to a swami], etc.

 

So what, we are not supposed to criticise third class men? We are not suppsoed to criticise someone in maya? We are not supposed to correct someone who will become intelligent when they are eighty years old? Give

me a break. LOL

What is the use of one’s 80 years of life remaining Krsna conscious, if one can not make at least one person Krsna conscious?

A Krsna conscious person knows that many falling happens for a starter. But if one to achieve the highest goal of human life to know Krsna as supreme Godhead then He must get many chances even in one life. That's what Prabhupada wanted.

So why Prabhupada should be so much upset if many falls? Does Prabhupada not knowing this truth? Does Prabhupada was not aware that even 99.9999% will fail because Krsna conscious is hardest among all harder in spiritual life?

That's why I met Prabhupada and seen Him, He is very happy person for ISKCON. ISKCON is trying to change themselves which is always welcome sign. He knows that trouble will come but will go away only through mercy of Krsna. So why Prabhupada will be upset becoming so wise of Krsna?

I am 27, I was diagnosed with Bi-Polar 6 years ago. I am very fanatical about God. I have had very intense dreams and seeing things. I have trouble sleeping when I am stressed. I also have very active imagination and photographic memory.

My first experience is that I felt a strange buzz in my forehead like pressure in the centre, this is intense when I go to sleep and whenever I feel like ''high''. I always pray in the shower to God, one day I had opened my eyes and I imagined that in my eye ball is the vast cosmic ocean and I imagined Maha Vishnu sleeping on the Great Nagarajah. I saw a bluish-purple light in the corner of my right eye, I was scared at first but, I felt happy, I thought I saw God.

Second experience, when I pray with my eyes open in front of the pooja room, all holy pictures of the Hindu deities, their eyes blink and mouths move as if they are talking or smiling. When I close my eyes, I see red light on the side of my right eye and blue light on the side of left eye. When I woke from a dream, my eyes were still closed, but I saw warm golden sun like light around the edge of my eye lids.

Third experience, when I say mantras like OM Maha Vishnu Namaya in the shower, I can hear people's chants of OM Maha Luxmi Namaya. Today I prayed with OM Kalki Durgai Saranam and I heard people repeat the chant while I was praying in the shower.

Fourth experiences, I have been lately having God related dreams, of which two had made me wonder whether it was sign from God

In the 1<SUP>st</SUP> dream, I am walking to a store or a house, as I walk through the door I see my reflection as a magical short dwarf, with a long curved nose, droopy ears and wearing gypsy clothes. I opened the door and find three wizards fighting gargoyles, suddenly the gargoyles come to attack me one by one, I seem to know each magical spell and destroy all 3 of the gargoyle, after which the wizards smile at me. Suddenly I find myself flying through into a tunnel and fly through to a sandy land. I see a lot of children and people flying. I see a black gypsy woman chanting something on a drawn square on sand with four equilateral triangles with lamps lit on the four corners. When I land next to her, she disappeared and I see that each corner has four symbols, a thick circle like a ring, the female sex symbol and the <st1:place>OM</st1:place>, but I forget to notice the fourth. When I see the <st1:place>OM</st1:place>, I face North East of the symbol and with each hand, draw the trident shape into the sand and moved backwards each time with a new linking one, I stop after I reach the end of the land. With the circle I draw a triangle and a pentagram. With the female sex symbol I draw the male and tri-sex symbol. The black woman appeared, when I was drew the tri-sex symbol and saying that why should this fit here and she smiled. Suddenly I realise the fourth, is very important to work out the truth about God, but in my excitement I wake up not knowing the fourth. The dream kept awake for a while, because I was thinking about it, I can not link the symbols together, but it felt good like I was closer to power. I went back to sleep.

 

I am visiting an old school building, and I sit among other unknown people, suddenly a man arrives and argues with me that I should not just have sat down just because other people sat down there. He said you should ask before you sit down and walks away angry. I then see him sit among other people in a different place but still in the old school, I calmly walk to him and tell him that I would not have sit down if someone told me in the first place. As I tell him this, I see him smile and he turned into an old Chinese clock like being with a very round face and long whiskers, he gives me a token. I try to read it but I could not understand it. Suddenly I meet a Native American who comes to me and tells me to follow him. He shows me the land surrounding the school. When I look at the ground, it is like a see through glass, I see souls of many dead people praying with their heads bowing down to the ground and kneeling down. The souls closer to me had their hands on the ground as they prayers, Then the second layer of souls after them were touching the feet of the first layer of souls. They were everywhere stretching as far as I can see, but at the end of the land, I see skulls of cattle. The Native American says that when everyone dies, they become part of Mother Earth, each being are connected with their prayer which links them together to the life force of Mother Earth. The Native American says that because of my answer, I have been chosen to show the world the real way to pray. That as one person prays to God, another person should touch the feet of the first person and pray what the first is praying, until there is a chain of people all linking the same prayer of peace to the first. So that all the auras of the praying would go to the first and therefore the first would have the powerful prayer of the many going to God. So that God can receive concentrated Shakti of one human and not have to listen to everyone. The Native American said rather than the dead souls follow this, now the living should also follow this to stop the evil spreading in the world. Therefore all of us pray as one and not separately. Understanding this I trust him and place both my hands on the head of one soul in the ground in front of me and I prayed for peace and goodness. I am alone and I suddenly appear in a Durga temple, there are Hindu devotees and I am showing many of about this unselfish. There is an old woman with her granddaughter, the old woman is praying with her whole body on the floor. The girl asks me how she can pray with her grandmother, I tell her to touch her grandmother’s feet. As I say this various still images of people magically appear in the temple, these images showed various Classical Indian dance poses (Bharata Natyam) and different positions of prayers facing God such as bowing to the floor, praying with hands together, I realise they are all forms of prayers resulting with same power to go God. I hear the Native American tell me that mantras are not the only way to pray but all different poses of every nature in all the Hindu cultures must be concentrated in one place in order to achieve the strongest prayer of Good to God, he tells me this would bring peace to the world. As all should only thinking about peace for the world and not thinking about themselves anymore. They should trust God and understand it is us by thinking selfish things for our self, we forget that we are living on Earth and one human affects the world by all the connections they make as they lives and their children’s life.

I wake up excited to tell someone, but realised it was a dream.

Yesterday I have worked out my dream, the pentagram as the four directions and the fifth direction (Northeast) is the electromagnetic energy of Mother Earth, they directions also represent fire, water, air, earth and soul. The circle is for protecting you, while you pray and also represents unity with God, the equilateral triangle represents the fusion of mind, body, and spirit as the Trinity of Shaktis. The fourth symbol is infinity.

I imagine that all the sun and the nine planets are Shaktis, they fuse together and become Kalki Durga. Kalki is the soul of a human who suffered mentally by the bad things of the world, fusing his energy with Durga and calling her to come to Earth and stop the bad things happening.

Am I having a spiritual guidance from God or is it just imagination?

The Krsna consciousness movement has spread all over the world within a very

short time (within five years), and mundane people are very much astonished

at this. However, by the grace of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, we

understand that everything is possible by the grace of Krsna. Why does Krsna

have to take five years? In five days He can spread His name and fame all

over the world like wildfire. Those who have faith in and devotion to Krsna

can understand that these things happen so wonderfully by the grace of Sri

Caitanya Mahaprabhu. We are simply the instruments. In the fierce Battle of

Kuruksetra, Arjuna was victorious within eighteen days simply because

Krsna's grace was on his side.

If the preachers in our Krsna consciousness movement are sincere devotees of

Krsna, Krsna will always be with them because He is very kind and favorable

to all His devotees. Just as Arjuna and Krsna were victorious in the Battle

of Kuruksetra, this Krsna consciousness movement will surely emerge

victorious if we but remain sincere devotees of the Lord and serve the Lord

according to the advice of the predecessors (the six Gosvamis and other

devotees of the Lord). As Narottama dasa Thakura has stated: tandera carana

sevi bhakta-sane vasa, janame janame haya ei abhilasa. The Krsna

consciousness devotees must always desire to remain in the society of

devotees. Bhakta-sane vasa: they cannot go outside the Krsna consciousness

society or movement. Within the society we must try to serve the

predecessors by preaching Caitanya Mahaprabhu's cult and spreading His name

and fame all over the world. If we attempt this seriously within the

society, it will be successfully done. There is no question of estimating

how this will happen in the mundane sense. But without a doubt, it happens

by the grace of Krsna.

Phabhu Hari is only our Lord and He is only eternal every era, every time. Prabhu Krsna is our energy and I will offer my life and soul to the feet of Lord Krsna as His devotee.

Are you just in a room chanting japa by yourself or something?

 

Do you have any good bhajan tapes? Do you have any good association or sadhu sangha?

 

There is a stage of chanting called the offensive stage in KC. Other groups call it something else, but similar concept. Other Hindu groups say that in the beginning stage you should find a group that you can chant with because "the individual lifts the group and the group lifts the individual."

 

KC people say you need to have "good association". So do you have some nice association? Because in the beginning stages it is almost impossible to

lift yourself up by your own endeavors. In the beginning stage melodious

music helps and a nice presentation.

Just remember that to come to Golok, the highest abode of bliss and enjoyment throughout this universe you have to remember Krsna at the time of your death which is not simple. If you can not remember Krsna or any of His associates then you will be captured by demigods. That's why you need Bhajan and practice. You can chant Krsna anytime there is no offence when Lord Krsna is so merciful and aware of fallen state of soul in Kali Yuga. But you need association and regulative principles because that will help you to understand Krsna and help you to grow with love towards Krsna. As I told, initially you may have many doubts which are spiritual in nature, can easily be answered by superior Adhikari who has already realized Krsna in some extent. That will help you to grow faster.

Another thing is that until the fruits are ripe with devotional services towards Krsna with loving relationship, Krsna does not allow touching those fruits to pluck. So until you realized Krsna, you have to remain in this material world with supervision of Krsna and His associates. That’s why many Krsna devotees suffer in material life until they are fully devoted to Krsna with loving services. Even it may not possible one to realize Krsna in one life but Krsna gives guarantee that He will place those souls in their next life such that they need not to start from beginning. They can start from their previous life where they left. That is the mercy of Krsna, from the supreme Lord of universe that none of His devotee losses any merits of devotional services towards Krsna from their previous life. No one can give that guarantee except Krsna, the supreme person of this Universe for sure.

So chant Krsna, love Krsna anywhere anytime. There is no offence. There is no offence to love Krsna anytime because who can enter to your heart except Krsna?

Where does the life begin?

Is the life begins when the soul is entering into the womb with life force of a man? or the soul is not entering at the time when life force is entering into the female body? How actually we start and where we start? How a soul actually enters the womb of a mother? and what happens if a child die inside the womb and at the birth time. please reply vaishnavas/ Vaishnavis.

The seed of one current life that is not realized Krsna to be supreme person, is collected either by demigods, demons etc. based on one’s karma and actions from current and past lives. That seed is planted again to one mother's womb based on one’s karma by the collecting person or by super soul in appropriate time based on his choice. Once that seed is planted again on the mother's womb, life begins. It is similar how you cultivate your own garden, collecting seeds and planting seeds.

The same question goes for chanting the Hare Krishna mantra, doing yoga, etc.?

 

Answers like try it for yourself and you'll know hold no weight, simply because the mind is easily fooled, and that is why science exists: to take us away from illusion and wishful thinking and know reality as it is, God or no God. What if experiential knowledge is merely the product of wishful thinking or wilful delusion?

Thoughts of God, and spirituality, and the wish to know of His existence continue to dominate my thoughts, so much so that I have been trying to resolve my fear that my wish to go into science and my wish to know God and remain spiritual do not conflict with each other. As a consequence, I've been trying to develop a more spiritual life before immersing myself in scientific pursuits, hopefully in medicine where the idea of God's existence and the power of medicine is constantly in conflict with one another.

Think like this, can science relieve you forever from birth and death? Imagine, even they discover some medicine and keep you alive for some time but if some one come and shot on your head you will surely die. Then who are you? Are you just a body subject to death or you has something which does not die?

Nature shows that every fruit bears at least one seed that can be planted to grow as a tree that can bear fruits again. If a plant can have seed and potential to bear child of its kind then why not human who is much more conscious living entity should not have any potential to take rebirth after one life? So to search this potency whether you have any existence or not after your death is science of religion?

This science had been explored by many religion scientists and it is established today that there is life after death based on the potency one can develop through knowledge of soul in this life.

How you can develop this knowledge of soul is your own realization about your soul with respect to super soul. Super souls are demigods who had already realized their potency and spiritual life after many births.

You can come to contact with such super soul through Guru. Or you can start from today and start realizing yourself by discovering each and every reason by yourself. But that path is not so easy because you have to face many super souls on your way and sometimes you will be trapped by their illusionary power and be captured by them through illusion.

So the best way to escape from this trap, you have to worship supreme person Lord Krsna who can over power every super soul and can make your spiritual journey smooth.

That's where you begin with Prabhupada, Lord Krsna and Lord Krsna Chaitannya. Lord Krsna Chaitannya had given guarantee that if any one chants Hare Krsna in this Kali yuga, he will come all the way to help that fallen soul and take him to the highest transcendental universe called Golak and make that soul His eternal company who can enjoy highest transcendental bliss of this universe. That soul will be completely liberated from birth and death. Where as that can not be happened if a soul goes to one demigod because demigods always over powered by supreme person and at the time of conflict either one demigod with other, or demigod with other powerful demigods like Shiva, Brahma etc. or even with Krsna, they fall onto material world along with all jivas who are captured by that demigod with His illusionary power. So there is always a risk of birth and death if your soul goes to one demigod. But there is no risk of birth and death if your soul goes to Krsna. Krsna always gives options to His close attendants to serve Him in heaven and also in material world as loving services towards Him and to enjoy everywhere through out universe.

So that's why it is told that Krsna and His devotees is highest enjoyer. It is told by Krsna in Bhagavat Gita that, one who offers all fruits of his actions to Krsna, he is most wise because if fruits of all actions are offered to Krsna then already all seeds of that actions also collected by Krsna. So one need not to worry about his Karma and actions that are with Krsna. So spiritually one always remain free from Karma and its action and one can become highest enjoyer of this universe similar to Krsna.

But all rascals interpret differently for their own selfish reason and they say that Krsna enjoys because you offer all your Karma and actions to Him. Krsna enjoys only seeing His devotees to enjoy giving them liberation from karma and actions.

Anyway, I do not want to dwell so much on past stories, because after all Srila Prabhupada is still with us. That sounds almost cliché, but it is true that he is still here and that he is still guiding us and smiling when we accomplish something for him and make some

 

advancement. And he chastises us in his own way when we fall. But he still always picks us up. We can stumble and fall, but he never lets us stay down too long.

Srila Prabhupada is alive in His subtle body and I met Him. Even I talk to Him few days before. If you pray Him, He will definitely listen.

Before I begin I must say that my gurudeva is great; there’s no one like him and he has so many virtuous qualities and is such a great soul, my spiritual life would be non-existent if I had not the good fortune to meet him.

 

However, there appears to be a very strong mental bond between my guru and I. My mind is an open book to him and he can talk to me through thoughts. One is supposed to submit body mind and soul to the guru, but this level of mental intimacy is just too much. I want to aviod offending the guru, and this is not something I can bring up with my guru or god brothers/sisters.

 

I would like to ask the merciful devotees of this forum if this kind of connection with one’s guru is normal? I can often feel the spiritual presence of my guru and when it comes and goes it brings a tremendous side-effect of feelings which leave me slightly shaken and unable to get on with day to day chores with as much concentration as I would like.

 

I love my gurudeva immensely and trust him implicitly. I don’t want him to think that I no longer want to be his disciple or something, but I just feel like my mind and privacy is not something I am really ready to surrender to him as yet. What can I do? I really value the privacy and solitude of my mind but now I feel that I no longer have that. Is this the price of attaining love of God?

 

Please, will some devotees be kind enough to share their experiences and advice in this regard.

Surrendering to Guru without finding Krsns is foolishness. Make direct relationship with Krsna if Guru is so troublesome.

Every genuine devotee of God wants to enter God's kingdom in this life and return to their Beloved Lord. They do not want to stay on the wheel of Samsara, apart from their Beloved, for any more lifetimes. Such a thought is scary and dreadful to the devotee.

 

How can a devotee find assurance that he will reach God's lotus feet in this lifetime, so that his worries about being reincarnated and not reaching God will subside? Are their inner/outer signs that we can see that let us know we are making real progress in our devotion?

Only when you can not remain single moment without thinking about Krsna

I am a victim of black magic and the ghosts casted upon me are 'Karna Pishachinis'. They are constantly telling my mind in my ears and the persons nearby. The life is very difficult to live since these ghosts are forcing to think what they want.

 

I have tried many tantriks in India, but nobody could break the spell. Usually, these ghosts are employed for evil pursposes.

 

If anybody knows about the genuine tantrik/guru who has the knowledge to break the spell, please inform. It will also helpful to everybody who is suffering from such black magic.

Chant Hare Krsna, Krsna will clean your Karna Pishachinis. Except Krsna nobody can kill Pishachinis.

I've read of accounts where people have seen Sathya Sai baba in their dreams and they took it to mean that he was their real guru. So they become disciples of his and then later feel betrayed by their trust in him.

 

So how would you know who is your authentic guru?

 

By the way, I'm not seeking a guru out right now, I'm just curious as to what would be the qualities devotees would look for and how they make such judgment calls.

I was chanting Narayana from my birth and Lord Chaitannya visited me after my birth and also later. I was looking for Narayana. Sathya Sai Baba (later revealed to me) who came to my work place at Bangalore 10 yrs back and initiated me keeping His identity secret with Hare Krsna mohamantra and told me that I am His Chela. During this initiation I did not asked His identity but He given me hints saying, come to my Ashram at Whitefield though I forgotten. Later many demigods including Krsna, Chaitannya and Narayana gave darshan to me.

So Sathya Sai Baba is prefect spiritual Guru and Narayana Himself. I had seen His subtle Body as Narayana. Sathya Sai Baba's birth name is Sathya Narayana and Sirdi Sai Baba worshiped Narayana to get His blessing and Sirdi Sai entered within the body of Sathya Narayana and became Sathya Sai Baba. Sirdi Sai was Lord Shiva Himself.

So there is no doubt that anybody who worships Sathya Sai Baba will get blessing of Shiva and Narayana both. Sathya Sai Baba is authorized Guru by lord Krsna and every body must get His blessing, if possible initiation of Hare Krsna mohamantra.

Or how do you know which guru to trust or whether to trust any guru? And what if that trust is betrayed in some form later after you've become a disciple? For instance, what if he succumbs to lust, or you find out he's not as perfect as you thought he was?

 

What would you do then? How would you feel?

If your Guru always offers all his actions and glories to Krsna and his Guru, He is one real Guru. Servitude towards Krsna is the only means to know one has realized Krsna. One who has realized Krsna will never take position of Krsna that is for sure because He knows merits and demerits of taking position of supreme person Krsna. Lord Chaitannya Mohaprabhu becoming Lord Himself had taken that position then what to say about other!!!!!

Bottom line is, one who remains servant of Krsna after realizing Krsna and offers all His glories immediately to Krsna, He is real Guru.

One of the symptoms of their sickness is the havoc they have been creating in society. This is distressing to those who have some affection for Srila Prabhupada and his mission.

Krsna arranges appropriate Guru for appropriate seeker. Prabhupada did not seek your affection but only your devotion to Krsna. Why to worry when Krsna can help to over come all sickness. Only become true lover of Krsna that is your bottom line.

This not about whether you believe in Krishna or not.

 

I don't think Krishna wants people to follow Him like cows, but think for themselves on what He have taught. People nowadays are more like cows than humans.

If people are like cow nowadays, then they are very nearer to Krsna when Krsna is cowherd Himself. If one so close and remaining in Krsna's supervision, then he must have mastered atleast some tests of all those above mentioned, such as Knowledge, Wisdom and Mysticism, is not it?

So remaining under Krsna's supervision is only important nothing less than that.

In the recent past we have seen many ISKCON gurus get sick often and have passed away with fatal diseases like cancer. When they have reasonably been good enough and healthy why should they get such diseases?

 

Usually pure devotees don't get afflicted with such deadly diseases. Which pure devotee in our sampradaya has passed away with fatal diseases or in car crashes?

 

Is it because the present ISKCON gurus are not able to deal with the karma they take from their disciples during initiation? A siddha bhakta, pure devotee can easily deal with karma and get away from them. Or is it because the gurus just are not qualified to be gurus?

 

Won't it be better for them to just remain as senior devotee preachers and be an inspiration for other devotees. That way they can remain longer alive and contribute more to ISKCON than become incompetent gurus and get lost with the karma of their disciples.

Why to worry about those who are sick? Krsna is not sick!!! Think about Krsna only that will take away all sickness.

Which of this three is important in Life?

 

Knowledge?

Wisdom?

Mysticm?

 

Which of this aspects which the forumers here think is the most important aspect to live a proper life?

I have one experiance in the past one week that i have to share with everybody.

Iam chanting since 2002 of August iam chanting 16 rounds from 2003 december. i had taste but inbetween i didnt get good taste of chanting because of offences and deviaiton while chanting. So now iam Writting Hare Krishna Maha mantra in a paper and seeing the Hare Krishna mantra and chanting my rounds. To my surprise it gives more taste and plessure on the holy name better than before. If we are able to remember the Lord Krishna when we are chanting its very good. But somebody could not do that we can try to remembering Hare Krishna maha-mantra by seeing it more often when we are chanting.

The mercy of the Holy name of the lord (Hare Krishna maha-mantra) is to chant the Hare Krishna maha-mantra.

Please try this method so that you can chant with lot of concentration and taste real nectar of the Holy name of the Lord Hari.
