  1. Killing is wrong. If there is a war and your fighting for good then it is permitted. But eating meat killing others for no reason is a deeeeeeep sin which is almost undoable. Just find out the main ethics of hinduism. You must mention that is actually called the Sanatan Dharma not hinduism as it's called. Go on all these websites about hinduism, they will giv you much knowledge. http://www.swaminarayan.org

    It's a sect of hindusim which i believe in. They also mention hinduism overall i think.

  2. How disgusting! Were in Kali-Yug? I'm not so sure anymore. It does not matter how you kill, but it always will stick on to your karma. I think in the world it should be life for life. Anyone who eats meat should rot to death, it's so unbelieveably cruel. The feeling the poor animal goes through cannot be experienced by us humans. One day when all animals become extinct only then shall these animals learn that they have feeligs too and have nerves which feel pain too, just like us. We can't hear it because of ther language but hteir screamng in pain at this evil stuff that goes on. Kali maa worshippers are the worst. In one temple in Kathmandu (Nepal) they slash heads of animals and squirt all their blood in the river of blood then they go home and eat the animal they sacrificed. I hope kali ma destroys them for doing something so evil. In the veds it says to sacifice GRAINS AND RICE but when buddha read the veds he misenterpreted the word used for grains and rice as they in sanskrit they both mean animals too. Learn you fools! Killing is wrong!!

  3. My name is raghav (another name for ram bhagwan). When Narad Muni went to this kingdom he advised the king no to hunt. The king saw his future. On his death-bed he was being torn to shreds by the very things he hunted. Narad advised he should name his son narayan. Every time he called his son his karma got better. On his real death-bed he screamed to his son "save me narayan" so narayan himself came to save him. It is moralic to respect your elders, nothing wrong with it. Hari is parmatma to a woman but she should serve her husband as much as a husband should serve her wife.

  4. Did krishna make india a place worthy to live in now? No. No avatar has made india better for the future, only for when he lives in his time. Obviously he makes people realise the true path but you cannot consider that. {No avatar will come in the future to sort out India's mess} You dont believe in kalki! The 'proof' is real 'proof'. Swaminarayan was not a guru but a god. To that there are no ifs and buts, swaminarayan is GOD.

He came not to spread krishna's name but his. When he was named, he was given a few name two of the senior names were Ghanshyam and Krishna so in the shikshapatri he is reffering to none other than himself. We are not insecure, in fact we could not care less but people calling us brainwashing cults? Unbearable. I agree that there is only ONE god, not just Krishna. All these avatars (i mean every single one of them) are personifications of none other than purna purshottam and their comapnions are akshar, the dwelling place of akshar. That is what AKSHARDHAM is. The home Aksharpurshottama. The meaning oof swaminarayan is:

    Swami=Brahma

    Narayan=Parabrahma

    Henceforth, swaminarayan

    Here is sometrhing I got form a phd studying sanskrit about the akshar verse.

    "...the first quote about Akshardham from the Skanda Purana is a good example of this: Here Lord Vasudeva simply says that that He has an imperishable (akshara)abode (dhama), where He eternally lives in the company of Srimati Radharani and Lakshmi devi. This is clearly a reference to Lord Krishna's abode. Lord Krishna confirms in Bhagavad-gita also that His dhama is imperishable. Basically, I don't think that there is much point in arguing about these verses. The the fact is that if you already believe that Sri Swaminarayan is God, then you will find these quotations convincing, otherwise not."

    This is a paragraph from a response I got concerning swaminaryanas athenticity.

    Q. Hasn't swaminarayan established the worship of Krishna in the shikshapatri?

    S. Yes swaminaryana took Krishna as his ista deva, just as ram worshipped shiva etc.

    Q. But swaminarayan in verse 108 of shikshapatri says Krishna is the source of all incarnations (Avtari) but you say swaminaryana is this.

    S. Oh.. Actually when he says this he is talking about himself.

    Go figure.
