  1. you said:

"..The difference between worshipping Vishnu and Lakshmi is that it is even harder to get the blessings of Lakshmi - because she herself is devoted to Vishnu. If one can, however, somehow get Lakshmi's blessings then it is an amazing acheivement, since one automatically gets the blessing of Vishnu..."

Mother is all merciful and cant bear the cries of the child for so long.

Differentiating and comparing the several forms of mother is stupidity.

Mother takes several forms .As we are Her children, we should not be deceived by the change in forms.

    you said:

"...Lakshmi controls Vishnu, Radha controls Krishna...but Durga only controls the material energy..."

    LAKSHMI IS THE WEALTH GODDESS!

    ANY DOUBT IN THAT???

Radha was the lover of Krishna.

    Durga= Dur+ ga

    Dur= difficult

ga = to attain or reach

I could say Krishna was attached to the material world, since He took several avatars in this "MATERIAL" world.

ANY REASONS FOR NOT CONSIDERING HIM "MATERIAL" ??

  2. Some guest said:

o krisna, player of the flute , surely u are not greater than radha ,those who are in distress may pray to you

but when you are distressed it is radha u call upon with your flute.

    jai radhe

'millions of krishnas are born and exist in infinitesmal portions of radha.'.."

    Any comments from Vaishnavas?

  3. Need prosperity?

Chant the kanaka dhara stavam (meaning gold-showering-hymn)

It praises the Divine Mother Lakshmi.

This hymn was written by Adi Sankaracharya.

The story is like this :

One day during collecting bhiksha(alms),he reached a house which was of a poor brahmin. At that time nothing was there in the house for alms, but the lady of that house didnt want to sent Sankara empty-handed.She rushed to the kitchen and could find only one fruit in the kitchen to give as alms.

She placed that fruit into his plate with shame. Then Sankaracharya, much pleased with her act, closed his eyes and started singing the KANAKA-DHARA-STAVAM with mother Lakshmi in his mind.

When he completed the reciting,a heap of golden fruits started raining to the yard by the divine grace of the Mother.

Hence it is believed that those who recite this hymn gets the grace of Mother Lakshmi.

  4. Then the lord Vishnu was extremely pleased by the selfless request of Agasthya Maharshi and He spoke the eternal truths.

Lord Vishnu explained that He is the Primordial principle(tatwam), and the Source and the End of everything.Though He is above forms and Gunam(attributes),He involves in them.He goes on to explain that a person should recognize that He is the Pradhaana(primordial) which transformed into the universe , and that He is also the Purusha(conscious spirit) who is transcendental and beyond all qualities and forms. However to recognize this, one has to perform severe penance ,self-discipline etc.Since this is difficult, Lord Vishnu advises that the worship of the Mother-Godess will achieve the goal of life, which is "liberation from bondage", very easily.

  5. Once, Sage Agasthya Maharshi, who is a great scholar of all the Vedas and Vedantas and who is a well wisher of the world , travelled to several Theertham(holy places) and Janapatham(townships), and wherever He went, He found all creatures immersed in ignorance and their fondness was only towards material pleasures like the belly and sex. Then the Maharshi felt very much sorrow and thought of a way to enlighten this pitiful life of people and raise them to Spirituality.

In His course,He went to the Holy Place Kanchee and there He

performed Puja and meditation towards the Ekamranatha(Siva),

KamakshiDevi and the Loka-Rakshak Vishnu Bhagavan. Then Lord Vishnu was pleased by the strict Tapas(meditation) of the Rishi for a long period , and He appeared in front of Agasthya with KevalaJnanam(knowledge) as His form and holding in His four arms, the Sankham, Chakram, Pusthakam(book) and AkshaMala(beads stringed together, represents knowledge and spirituality) and His face was like an aswam(horse) ,and with His brightness, the Lord illuminated the whole world and His holy name was Hayagreeva(=horse-headed).

When the Lord Vishnu appeared in this magnificient form, Agasthya praised Him and prayed to Him for a complete remedy for the disease of ignorance of the creatures which caused repeated births and sufferings in the world.

  6. I start this topic to say something special about Mother Lalithambika and Her SahasraNamam.

Please dont take this post as a blasphemy to any of the deities. I will give concentration in this post to the Holy Mother's Sahasranamam which is the Greatest Hymn in praise of Mother.

I saw somebody in the thread DIVINE MOTHER accused badly about the Lalitha Sahasranamam and I dont want to accuse them, but want them to know the real things about the Lalitha SahasraNamam, the most effective hymn ever written by anyone other than the SupremeBeing.

Someone said in one of the posts that these are mere stories and nothing to do with the Divine one.Such people need not read my posts.

  7. You told me in your post(in the topic named DIVINE MOTHER) :

Most scholars, Hindu or Non-Hindu, agree that Puranas are not scriptures. They are only vehicles used to convey the deep philosophical thoughts contained in the Upanishads. This is why there are innumerable contradictions between various Puranas. Only Shrutis (The four Vedas containing Samhitas, Brahmanas, Aranyakas and Upanishads) are considered true Scriptures by learned Hindus."

Then why the hell are you quoting from gita?

It is from mahabharatam which is only a STORY according to you!And who is krishna other than a myth?

Is He mentioned about in the SCRIPTURES as said by you?

  8. You said:

"...I personally have no problems with Mother in the form of Lalitha, Durga or Kali. But I think your understanding is a little flawed. If you consider Shiva and Shakti are separate entities and you want to worship Shakti alone, then you are contradicting the scriptures. If you consider God in the form of Shakti, then your logic is bad..."

since you have explicitly said in your post that my mother and my worship are false, I need not answer this question.

You said that my understanding is a little flawed.

But since they are only STORIES(according to your post),it doesnt matter whatever I understand !It is afterall a fairytale, rite?

Only if my belief is true, I need to answer your Qn.

Since my belief is FALSE(according to your post) I need not answer.

reason:FAIRY TALES without copyright ie, can be modified!

    You said:

If you consider God in the form of Shakti, then your logic is bad.

But I never said She is GOD.

It is you guys who call HER God.I only call Her mother(even though She is false for You)

    And where is logic?

The concept of Shakti as God is false(as you said) right?

And one could say the concept of God is also false.

So no explanation needed for stories, right?

Since you said they are imaginary characters, what is the use of worshipping them (as separate entities or as united ) ????????????????????????????????

  9. You said:

Your Mother won't? Your Mother, My Mother...what is this? Do you have some kind of private rights over Devi? And which of the Avatar of ANY Trimurtis are supposed to have killed for fun?

Again, these are mere stories according to you, right?

So Mother Kali is also a character in a myth ,Right?

SO WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM IF I CALL HER "MY" MOTHER?

No private rights are required for imaginary mythical "DEVI" right?

Or are you saying that these STORIES are copyrighted and so that cant call Kali (sorry, imaginary KAli) as MY own Mother?

"...In that case, Your Mother needs to take responsibility for everything including creation..."

    Here again, only stories right?

so ask those who wrote these IMAGINARY stories .

    My question is:

can an imaginary being be responsible for creation(since you have said that mother Shakti is imaginary ,unreal and a myth)???

    Answer please.

  10. "...And which of the Avatar of ANY Trimurtis are supposed to have killed for fun?.."

The story books according to you(in my terms, the PURANAS) can be updated such that the trimurtis kill for fun.Anyway they are stories na? since you have said:

"These are, again, nice stories but still, just stories. Yes, yes, yes. In these stories, The Mother kills the demons to protect Her children in the stories."

So they have nothing to do with God (as you said)

They can be interpreted as killing for fun and the characters like Trimurtis as Killers (like in a fairy tale)

After all they are mere stories rite?

    LOGIC!

  11. You said:

"..Most scholars, Hindu or Non-Hindu, agree that Puranas are not scriptures.Only Shrutis (The four Vedas containing Samhitas, Brahmanas, Aranyakas and Upanishads) are considered true Scriptures by learned Hindus...."

I got a new idea by reading your post.Thanks.

I have realised that all the Puranas are stories from your post and they are NOT SCRIPTURES at all.

Please wait while I reveal this truth to all Hindus of the world:

Hear all Hindus, whatever deities you are worshipping are products of false stories.May it be Krishna or Kali or Shiva. They are true only if they are said about in the four Vedas containing Samhitas, Brahmanas, Aranyakas and Upanishads.

    Is it enough man?

Since I have realised that all the stories are fake,I hereby abandon all my sayings in my previous posts and ask appology for evrything written in it about a "FALSE" mother.

So they are all stories right?

So the Mother Kali's stories have no support from the scriptures, rite?

    Then why you ask:

"..If Mother did not create demons, who does?.."

They are after all stories and you should not believe stories. And such a Mother doesnt exist at all(since you said they are stories only).

If my mother doesnt exist, why ask such doubts about an imaginary entity?..a myth?

    You said:

"Here is where you go off the deep end. If Mother did not create demons, who does? You worship Mother as the Embodiment of Supreme Reality, right? In that case, Your Mother needs to take responsibility for everything including creation..."

I didnt say anywhere that my mother is the supreme reality nor God.I dont have the right to say so.

The supreme being may be something which I cant perceive.

  12. Thanks .You told explicitly that Mother Shakti. Is a demigod.I think demigod is something inferior. If it is really so,one should not worship Her.

But I dont want to see Her as God .

I just see Her as my Mother.

Do you and Lord Krishna have any problem with that?

But i cant still believe that Krishna told that my mother Kali is a demigod.

  13. Some guest said:

"...A sin can take place but not in the name of God.."

I want to clarify that I didnt ever mention in any of my posts that my Mother is GOD.

"..I think you are a smartha brahmin from Tamilnadu and mine also same..."

Being a brahmin, you may perform Satwik worships(based on Satwa Guna=the best among three gunam).

But it wont be good for you to chastise the Tamsik as well as Rajasik worships.

I dont perform Tamsik or Rajasik deeds(like animal sacrifice). For Satwiks, the killing animals for material benefit is considered sin.

You named the offering of sacrifice to one's diety as a SIN!

You must have read the RIGVEDA and saw the various rituals explained in it all about animal sacrifices(including horse).

In the PURUSHA SOOKTAM too it is clearly shown that there was sacrificial animal(purusha himself).

Now,purusha was the supreme according to that hymn.So it means that sacrifices were considered inevitable!

  14. 'why people offer goats to Kali?".

There are much more to offer!

    cows, hen, buffalo, ox etc

you need to read THE MAHA BHAGAVATAM to understand this(not the Vishnu Bhagavatam nor the Devi Bhagavatam).

The devi herself says in the MahabhagavataPurana about the animal sacrifices.(which actually refers to the conversation of Narada and MahaDeva) . The narrator of the Mahabhagavata Purana is Lord Shiva.

It is one among the 18 main puranas.

Vishnu Bhagavat and Devi Bhagavat are the sub-Puranas.

In the MahaBhagavatam, we can see the Mother saying in detail about the animal sacrifices.

I have read that in my own language(translation).

If I am to write it here, it will take a lot of time to translate. Please find your copy and read it once. All your doubts will vanish.

The sacrifices are explained in the part where Rama-Ravana fight is described.

  15. You said:

My dear Bhadramoorthi, there is a flaw in your logic. You say: "She kills only demons.". Why does She kill the demons? If She wants to kill the demons, why did She create the demons in the first place?...."

Firstly, it is not my logic.

I have proof from the scriptures(Puranas).

Secondly, She doesnt want to kill demons.Only when some devotees(example: devas, rishis or Trimurtis) get tired of the demons, they pray to Mother to kill them. And She, due to extreme affection towards the weeping child, takes Her Samharini Form,(whose vision is also deadly) and starts fight with the demons. This is the case with each and every Killing She has done(can refer to any Devi books).

Some other avatars of the Trimurtis may kill for fun.But my mother wont.Clear?

Thirdly, I dont know Whether Mother created demons.

Demons or Asuras(44 crores) are the sons of Lord Kasyapa prajapati. The Devas(33 crores) were too born to Kasyapa. The Universal Mother doesnt directly involve in Srishti(creation).

If one think so deep that Universal Mother delivered the demons and all the creatures, then how can one resist that !

But then also my Mother stands far apart from creation.

I think Lord Brahma is in-charge of creation.

How can you say that my Mother created the demons?Do you have any proof from valid scriptures?

  16. you said:

Dear Prabhu Badramurti pleese understand Krishn. He said Gita dont worship demigods worship only me. Only sweet Krishn can give Mukuti. Read Gita.... "

    What is a demigod?

Is my Mother Kaali is also a demigod?

    Who told that?

Krishna asked all to worship Him just like the God in the Bible asks everyone to worship him,and like Jesus asked everyone to worship Him and his Father and like Allah asked everyone to worship Him.

So are we sure Whom to worship??

Thats why I dont worship God.

I only worship The Supreme Mother .

  17. Your words:

"..But in Lalitha Sahasranama,if you keenly note all namas, one nama says 'Mahamaaya',other nama is

    'Samharini rudrarupa','bali priya','maha kali' etc.

If she is Maha Maaya then it means she is material energy of Vishnu and thats why we call her 'Sister' of Vishnu. And Maha Kali is ferocious, destructive and accepts animal sacrifices & blood. Please dont say 'ignorant people offer her but she does not like this'.Those ignorant people dont offer blood to Hari or any of his Avataras. And it was the main reason I went to Vaishnavism.I cannot accept that, the same Mother, gives one Mukthi and protection & wants the blood of innocent animals at the other end.Take for eg the very powerful Devi Shrine Kaamaagya. It is very powerful yet not protective for animals.

And I did not want such concept of Mother.Even refuting animal sacrifice and accepting Mother as all merciful,I hesitated to go to the very same Kali temple and simply confine to Mukthi, where animals are slaughtered with great agony and tears in their eyes..."

    What to say!

    Too pity of you.

Let the Divine mother Herself reveal to you when you are eligible.

the following sentence has sense of humour!

"..The Divine Mother is Shirmati Radha Rani who is all merciful..."

    HaaHaaaaHaaaaHaaaaaaaaaaaa...............
