1. Hare Krishna I think (yep thats think), you fast on Krsna's birthday, out of respect, and then you can feast, but some people eat once in the day, and carry on praying/chanting etc. I find eating once in a day, instead of afer 12.00am, better because it gives me a bit more energy to do sravanam/kirtanam, plus I hate fasting, the only time I do fast for sure is Bhima Ekadasi (nirjala). ------- nitai-gauranga, nitai-gauranga jayasacinandana, gaura-hari All glories to Lord Nityananda and Lord Caitanya! the son of Saci-devi, who is Krsna Himself in golden hue. 2. Hare Krishna SB 1.15.21 Los Angeles December 1, 1973 Just like Ravana. Ravana, Hiranyakasipu, they were demons, godless demons. Ravana was very learned scholar in Vedic knowledge and very powerful materially. He converted his capital with gold, all the buildings and everything. It is supposed that Ravana's brother was a king of..., on the other side of the globe. So it is my suggestion... I do not say it is very scientific proof. So other side of the globe... Ravana was in Ceylon, and the other side of the globe, if you go by subway , it comes to Brazil. And Brazil is supposed to have gold mines. And it is said in the Ramayana that Ravana's brother was living on the other side of the globe, and Ramacandra was taken through the subway. So taking this into consideration, we can suppose that Ravana imported large quantity of gold from Brazil, and he converted them into big, big houses. So Ravana was so powerful that he made his capital Svarna-lanka, "capital made of gold." Wow there's a subway form Sri Lanka to Brazil. ------- nitai-gauranga, nitai-gauranga jayasacinandana, gaura-hari All glories to Lord Nityananda and Lord Caitanya! the son of Saci-devi, who is Krsna Himself in golden hue.

4. Hare Krishna Guest You said: Do Abraham, Moses and Jesus also play a role in the evolution of Humanity? Jesus is the Son of God, his father as he always says, sent him here for a reason, to deliver materially afflicted persons, to his father in heaven. Although in my opinion Christianity and Islam are stepping stones to Krishna-Bhakti, which is on the highest level, but then of-cource I would say that. /images/graemlins/grin.gif
5. Hare Krishna Humbleness means for Krishna & His devotees, but if these people are harassing your kids, then leave behind this humbleness, and show your anger, I would, kids are very fragile, so if somebody's messing with them, go full force and give these so-called neighbours of your's a piece of your mind. That's my frank advice..Haribol Prabhuji.
6. Look at the graphics, teach me please! Happy Janamatami, ok its not here yet, but preparations are on the way! Happy feasting /images/graemlins/tongue.gif
7. Hare Krishna "If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, fruit, or water, I will accept it." (Bg 9.26) Srila Prabhupada: If God does not have senses, how can He accept and eat the offerings that are presented to Him? According to ritual, we are offering Krsna food daily, and we can see that the taste of this food is immediately changed. This is a practical example. God eats, but because He is full, He does not eat like us. If I offer you a plate of food, you will eat it, and it will be finished. God is not hungry, but He eats, and at the same time, He leaves the food as it is, and thus it is transformed into prasada, His mercy /images/graemlins/smile.gif

11. Hare Krishna Quote by Theist: We can often fail to remember that there is a real feeling living soul there I had a problem with my Mum, accepting the Hare-Krishna Maha-Mantra, so I made a copy of The Morning Programme CD (it has everything SP chanting, Guru Vandana, etc), since she has started listening to it, she is offering more flowers to Krishna (also SP and Lord Chaitanya! and the prasadam she cooks for Krishna tastes EVEN better!. I have made copies of The Morning Programme for her friends as well, thinking if her friends become attracted to Hare-Krishna, then they can spread the word as well by Sri Radha's grace. I hope this is not a Copyright infringement /images/graemlins/frown.gif
12. Hare Krishna Quote By Me: If it was me, I'd drag her to the temple by the legs, and make her listen to Kirtan, then lets see if she dosen't like Krishna. I was only joking /images/graemlins/grin.gif Your advice is sound Theist. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
13. Hare Krishna Krishna is definately Testing You, this is a carried on from a previous posts in Krishna Talk. If it was me, I'd drag her to the temple by the legs, and make her listen to Kirtan, then lets see if she dosen't like Krishna. Ps maybe see if she can be attracted to Sri Sri Radha first?
14. Hare Krishna That's it you've made me angry now, you asked for it. I'm opening a threads on Gays, Lesbians, Donkeys, Galva(?), Ritvik and Sai Baba. /images/graemlins/mad.gif
15. Hare Krishna Big Bubba will be very upset. LE leave this person now /images/graemlins/wink.gif I think you are more crazy than me /images/graemlins/crazy.gif No, you are. /images/graemlins/grin.gif
16. Hare Krishnas I have heard that if you have a Rudraksha Bead around your person before you die, then you go straight to Shivaloka. But I don't think it meant to be, like you just wear one, and Not worship Lord Siva in some way. You can pray to him for service to Krishna, I tell you what if all the Shivites prayed to Lord Siva for this, there would be no pleasing Lord Siva I'm sure. Anyway whole other subject matter.
17. Hare Krishna How much do I owe you? /images/graemlins/mad.gif (what does it really say?) /images/graemlins/blush.gif

20. Hare Krishna I am thinking of getting a tatoo, thats both long and really annoying...could somebody please translate this for me at all: Supercalafragalistikaspialadoshas. This is my late dogs name he was very special to me, he died about 20 years ago, in a boating accident. All reply will be welcome. Thanks in advance.
21. Hare Krishna There is no Difference between Omkara and Krishna, although you cannot gain spiritual realisation my chanting Omkara by itself in this age, Omkara is esp. meant for when you meditate, but nowadays it very difficult with all its different sitting postures and breathing exercises, the easiest process as recommend by Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu the Most Munificent Incarnation of Lord Krishna is chanting His names: Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare
22. Hare Krishna Vaisnava's on this planet are Higher than Brahmin's so there has to be some Ksatriyas lurking about somewhere, don't you agree? In the Mahabharata it is said that these religious fighters can kill thousands of people at a time, but then again I don't know that much about the subject. Here is a verse from the Srimad Bhagavatam 1.3.20: In the sixteenth incarnation of the Godhead, the Lord [as Brgupati*] annihilated the administrative class [ksatriyas] twenty-one times, being angry with them because of their rebellion against the brahmanas [the intelligent class]. *Parasurama O Mind Just Worship Krsna
23. Hare Krishna There are a lot of threads mentioning kshatryas , are there any of these fighters on this Earth at the present moment? If so can I be trained! /images/graemlins/mad.gif O Mind Just Worship Krsna
24. O Mind Just Worship Krsna
25. Hare Krishna I got the above wrong, why> SB 4.19.36 They do not know that goddess Kali never accepts nonvegetarian food because she is the chaste wife of Lord Siva. Lord Siva is also a great Vaisnava and never eats nonvegetarian food, and the goddess Kali accepts the remnants of food left by Lord Siva. Therefore there is no possibility of her eating flesh or fish. Such offerings are accepted by the associates of goddess Kali known as bhutas, pisacas and Raksasas, and those who take the prasada of goddess Kali in the shape of flesh or fish are not actually taking the prasada left by goddess Kali , but the food left by the bhutas and pisacas. O Mind Just Worship Krsna
