  1. Krishna is the supreme Lord Vishnu, Mahha Vishnu actually, meaning beyond. He is the supreme Lord, in the Bhagavad Gita it explains all of this clearly. He explains he is the Lord of Lord, King of Kings. You could eat meat and sing hare krishna, no? If you didn't eat meat would it possibly be much better? Yes! Haha, every mantra is a syllable, a sound, existing as such. This existence is within the mahamaya, the great drama, the illusion, so the Lord is also beyond this beyond all sounds... Silence.. One Love! What o
  2. Om Namah Shivaya friends.. I was wondering if someone would translate a poem from english to sanksrit devangri.. It would be joyous to me! Many thanks om bow to Lord Shiva whose adoring eyes hold all the universes. I bow to Lord Shiva whose love washes over all calamities. I bow to Lord Shiva whose radiant comforting presence gives great peace of mind. I bow to Lord Shiva whose silence is in all places, powerful, distinct by very subtle and unnoticed. I bow to Lord Shiva into whose spirit is part of the Great Spirit, Undivided in truth but given division for the devotees taste. I bow to Lord Shiva who has the Moon on his tongue, the sun in his eyes, Adi Shakti in his bosom and all the Gods and Goddesses within his fingertips and navel. Oh I bow to the great Lord Shiva who gives Moksha to his great devotees. I bow to Lord Shiva who recognizes purity as small as it gets with great gladness. I bow to Lord Shiva who has rescued me many times and given strength in times of sorrow. I bow to Lord Shiva I bow to Lord Shiva I bow to Lord Shiva for to gain complete surrendering to his trident and yogic posture would be eternal bliss. I bow to Lord Shiva who grants the desires of his sweet children. I bow to Lord Shiva who is the grandfather of all the worlds known as SadaSivaya. I bow to Lord Shiva who truly has no name, no form, no taste, no sound, no knowing, and no unknowing because he is beyond all these things. I bow to Lord Shiva the MahaKavi, the Great Poet, who has incarnated many times and given light to the spectacle of his glory through transient language. I bow to Lord Shiva who with his Trilusi & Trident makes any beings in the 3 Worlds shutter with fear. I bow to Lord Shiva who does nothing but accomplishes all things. I bow to Lord Shiva for his sweet presence slithers through this prayer in devotion of him. I bow to Lord Shiva who is within all people, animals, elements, and vegetation. I bow to Lord Shiva who is seated inside the holy hill of Arunachala taking care of the world. I bow to Lord Shiva whose wisdom moves like lighting whilst peacefully flowing like a river correcting and helping anyone or anything that needs him so. I bow to Lord Shiva who above all else is the only reality, the seed of pure spirit within his holy spirit glows everywhere in all gods, sages, seers, and mystics. May I always remember Lord Shiva...

  4. OM ! I had practiced the Jesus prayer for a little while before receiving a Jesus mantra from Ammachi. So I don't think she would give the Jesus prayer out. The priest saying that the Jesus prayer is not a mantra.. is both true and false. Its doesn't fit the concrete definition of a mantra, because its more based on the conception.. have mercy.. Its also suppose to be only meditated and chanted to the heart. However the results are still the same as a mantra.. But at the same time, I believe Ramana's Maharshis Parable of the mantra plays an important role.. (I'll paraphrase for I don't remeber exactly) Maharshi "One day a King of the land wanted to learn of mantras, so he called his servants in and told them to find the man who could teach him some. THey found a man who was known to have practiced them, and was told by the king iniate me. The man said that he was not of the stature to do such things. The king furious, made him leave and found someone who told him what the words were. He made this man come back and said HA! I learned them anyway! The man replied well, it won't do you much good. The king angry demanded an explination. So the man told one of his guards to arrest the king. They were both taken aback, the man kept telling the guard to arrest the king, even though the guard woudlnt'. Finally the King furious told the guard to arrest this man. He did so, the man started laughing, he said, just as I had not the authority to arrest you, so be it the same with the mantra...." Anyway. Here are some christian mantras .. Om Christave Namah Om Namah Chistaya Yesu Yesu Jai Jai Namo
