Hi Appolonius I read through the whole thread (yes all 9 pages) because I sympathize with your condition even though I am not able to help you in any way. I have had experiences with bhoots myself and I used to be haunted by them (I do not know how strong they were) but I was successful in removing them (I have my own way which I do not wish to tell in public). A lot of good people have helped you and I am glad to hear that your condition is improving Even though your condition is improving, it should have been completely gone by now. I was particularly amazed when you said that the voices stopped for 2 days but then continued again. If you were successful in subduing the demons for 2 days then you should have been completely rid of them by now. Did you by any chance stop doing the mantras that you were doing?? Because that is the only way that I know that the attacks would continue again. Let me tell you a few things from my own experience. Ghosts and spirits tell lies 99% of the time. So if they say that the demon has special boons from Lord Shiva, most probably it is NOT true. They do that just in order to make you weak in mind -- to decrease your confidence in yourself so that you will not be able to fight back. I personally think that if a demon had such a boon, then he would not waste time haunting people and would be off to bigger things where he could gain more. A lot of people have given you a lot of good advice but my suggestion would be to stick with just one thing that works for you and not try to do everything that everyone suggests. Think of it in this way. Gods are similar to human beings in the respect that they have their own rules and their own personalities. If you are in trouble and go to 10 people to ask for help, chances are that all the 10 people would be displeased with you because you wouldn't be following any one of their advices correctly. But on the other hand if you go to just one person for help and follow his/her advice very carefully then that person will be pleased with you and will help you to the fullest. So I think it is the same with Gods also. And lastly I think that it is hilarious that any ghost/spirit/demon whatever is stronger than Lord Shiva, Kaali mata, Hanuman ji etc. All of the Gods have unimaginable power and it is really laughable that any demon would think itself to be more powerful than the Gods. If the demons were that powerful, they would have killed you already. But you are still alive. This means that they CANNOT kill you unless you yourself do it. Always remember this fact. Do tell me if you stopped doing the mantras, or did them carelessly when you got relief because that seems the only logical explanation why the attacks started again after it stopped. Regards

Something very interesting I have noted about my questions is that they never seem to get answered no matter where I ask them. Not on this board, not on lightonVedic Astrology, not on tribes.net. After I posted my question, 3 new threads got started and each received at least 2 replies but mine got none. I wonder why this is so. Do I ask stupid questions that nobody feels deserves an answer? I had checked the mundane chart of my question and Jupiter was on the lagna (though it was retrograde), so I thought this time Guru was on the lagna and I would surely get a reply. But doesn't seem like it so far.

My namaskar to everyone, I am learning jyotish and I am going through some charts. During one of such readings I have come across a very interesting combination of planets and found it to be beyond my comprehension. I am hoping some one in this board will reply. The D9 chart of this person(female) has Mars+Rahu in Lagna (Libra) and Ketu+Venus in 7th house (Aries). According to my understanding this gives rise to a planetary exchange of the 1st and 7th house. In the D1 chart, Mars is in the 3rd house (Aries) & Venus is in 4th house (Taurus), both are in own houses. I am very curious as to what the results for such a combination in the D9 will be like. I have read that Ketu is like Mars and Rahu is like Saturn. Rahu amplifies and Ketu takes away. So would the combination of Rahu & Mars mean that Rahu amplifies the energy of Mars? But in this case, there is also a planetary exchange and if I have understood correctly, then planets involved in exchanges are supposed to be read as in their own houses too. I am very confused by the above combination. Could somebody please help me out or point to some text that I can study. Thanks in advance, Prashanta
