  1. Earlier in post 6 I mentioned Elohim and the skins of animals covering the first couple of our race. I asked about purification. Ranjeetmore answered by thoughts of God, names, then one is purified by this. I asked by presence or power for in Christianity it is by presence and power, and not knowledge much. Also Jesus word cleansed the disciples, the twelve. Commands and a way... Be careful Bhaktajan of the language you use, I will explain from the Bible what the Blood of the Lamb is. Adam sinned, he was given skins to cover him, also a forerunner of sacrifice. Abraham made a covenant with Elohim in cut animals, and much later, Moses dealt with Israel's sins and those of the generations to come. Genesis 3:21. Moses gave commands, and disobeying "You shall not murder", and "You shall not commit adultery"... needed the death penalty as a matter of justice. For YHWH was looking at Israel and could not accept sin in any of them, or disasters would fall on all of them were sin visible. A blemish. Lev 24:14 This man has cursed me! Take him outside the camp and have the witnesses lay their hands on his head. Then command the whole community of Israel to stone him to death. Lev 24:15 And warn the others that everyone else who curses me will die in the same way, whether they are Israelites by birth or foreigners living among you. Lev 24:16 (SEE 24:15) Lev 24:17 Death is also the penalty for murder, Lev 24:18 but the killing of an animal that belongs to someone else requires only that the animal be replaced. But Moses said that for sin, a clean animal could be sacrificed in the place of the sinner. The sinner would come and bring a lamb with blemish and the priest would lay hands on the lamb to pass the sins from the person to the lamb. The lamb was slain in the place of the sinner, and the blood taken to cover the person's sins, atonement. So God would not see it, and this would be repeated each year. Partly so that a worshiper and lover of YHWH would relate to God and serve Him and have a forgetting of guilt. Exo 29:15 `And the one ram thou dost take, and Aaron and his sons have laid their hands on the head of the ram, Exo 29:16 and thou hast slaughtered the ram, and hast taken its blood, and hast sprinkled it on the altar round about Lev 14:23 and he hath brought them in on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the opening of the tent of meeting, before Jehovah. Lev 14:24 `And the priest hath taken the lamb of the guilt-offering, and the log of oil, and the priest hath waved them--a wave-offering before Jehovah; Lev 14:25 and he hath slaughtered the lamb of the guilt-offering, and the priest hath taken of the blood of the guilt-offering, and hath put on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot; Lev 14:26 and the priest doth pour of the oil on the left palm of the priest; Lev 14:27 and the priest hath sprinkled with his right finger of the oil which is on his left palm, seven times before Jehovah. Lev 14:28 `And the priest hath put of the oil which is on his palm, on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the guilt-offering. Jesus was the Lamb of God, without blemish, no sin at all, and He went to His death in your place and mine. He took in Himself sin, and it was finished in His rugged obedience, and He finished with our sins' power and the guilt of them for us to be clean, right, just, loving and healed from sins damages to our souls... Joh 1:29 The next day John sees Jesus coming to him and says, Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! Joh 1:30 This is He of whom I said, After me comes a Man who has been before me, for He preceded me. Joh 19:30 Then when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, It is finished! And He bowed His head and gave up the spirit. Joh 19:31 Then the Jews, because it was Preparation, begged Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away, so that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the sabbath. For that sabbath was a high day. Joh 19:32 Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first, and of the other who was crucified with Him. Joh 19:33 But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. Joh 19:34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a lance, and instantly there came out blood and water. 2Co 5:17 So that if any one is in Christ, that one is a new creature; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2Co 5:18 And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 2Co 5:19 whereas God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and putting the word of reconciliation in us. 2Co 5:20 Then we are ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as God exhorting through us, we beseech you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 2Co 5:21 For He has made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. To reconcile evil doer and victim, overcoming sin, and paying losses to the victim, so the love, the order of Jesus and Heaven could be instilled on Earth more, so it can be preparation for Heaven. Mat 6:9 Therefore pray in this way: Our Father, who is in Heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Mat 6:10 Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Joh 15:12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Joh 15:13 No one has greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends Knowing about Jesus blood is very important for eternal life and justice, but it's presence and power is the effector of cleansing from sin, for a clear conscience, and reconciliation and for entering the presence of the just and holy Father in Heaven, boldly. 1Pe 1:2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ. May grace and peace be multiplied to you. Heb 9:1 The first covenant had rules for worship and a place made for worship as well. Heb 9:2 A tent was put up, the outer one, which was called the Holy Place. In it were the lampstand and the table with the bread offered to God. Heb 9:3 Behind the second curtain was the tent called the Most Holy Place. Heb 9:4 In it were the gold altar for the burning of incense and the Covenant Box all covered with gold and containing the gold jar with the manna in it, Aaron's stick that had sprouted leaves, and the two stone tablets with the commandments written on them. Heb 9:5 Above the Box were the winged creatures representing God's presence, with their wings spread over the place where sins were forgiven. But now is not the time to explain everything in detail. Heb 9:6 This is how those things have been arranged. The priests go into the outer tent every day to perform their duties, Heb 9:7 but only the high priest goes into the inner tent, and he does so only once a year. He takes with him blood which he offers to God on behalf of himself and for the sins which the people have committed without knowing they were sinning. Heb 9:8 The Holy Spirit clearly teaches from all these arrangements that the way into the Most Holy Place has not yet been opened as long as the outer tent still stands. Heb 9:9 This is a symbol which points to the present time. It means that the offerings and animal sacrifices presented to God cannot make the worshiper's heart perfect, Heb 9:10 since they have to do only with food, drink, and various purification ceremonies. These are all outward rules, which apply only until the time when God will establish the new order. Heb 9:11 But Christ has already come as the High Priest of the good things that are already here. The tent in which he serves is greater and more perfect; it is not a tent made by human hands, that is, it is not a part of this created world. Heb 9:12 When Christ went through the tent and entered once and for all into the Most Holy Place, he did not take the blood of goats and bulls to offer as a sacrifice; rather, he took his own blood and obtained eternal salvation for us. Heb 9:13 The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a burnt calf are sprinkled on the people who are ritually unclean, and this purifies them by taking away their ritual impurity. Heb 9:14 Since this is true, how much more is accomplished by the blood of Christ! Through the eternal Spirit he offered himself as a perfect sacrifice to God. His blood will purify our consciences from useless rituals, so that we may serve the living God. Heb 9:15 For this reason Christ is the one who arranges a new covenant, so that those who have been called by God may receive the eternal blessings that God has promised. This can be done because there has been a death which sets people free from the wrongs they did while the first covenant was in effect. Heb 9:16 In the case of a will it is necessary to prove that the person who made it has died, Heb 9:17 for a will means nothing while the person who made it is alive; it goes into effect only after his death. Heb 9:18 That is why even the first covenant went into effect only with the use of blood. Heb 9:19 First, Moses proclaimed to the people all the commandments as set forth in the Law. Then he took the blood of bulls and goats, mixed it with water, and sprinkled it on the book of the Law and all the people, using a sprig of hyssop and some red wool. Heb 9:20 He said, "This is the blood which seals the covenant that God has commanded you to obey." Heb 9:21 In the same way Moses also sprinkled the blood on the Sacred Tent and over all the things used in worship. Heb 9:22 Indeed, according to the Law almost everything is purified by blood, and sins are forgiven only if blood is poured out. Heb 9:23 Those things, which are copies of the heavenly originals, had to be purified in that way. But the heavenly things themselves require much better sacrifices. Heb 9:24 For Christ did not go into a Holy Place made by human hands, which was a copy of the real one. He went into heaven itself, where he now appears on our behalf in the presence of God. Heb 9:25 The Jewish high priest goes into the Most Holy Place every year with the blood of an animal. But Christ did not go in to offer himself many times, Heb 9:26 for then he would have had to suffer many times ever since the creation of the world. Instead, now when all ages of time are nearing the end, he has appeared once and for all, to remove sin through the sacrifice of himself. Heb 9:27 Everyone must die once, and after that be judged by God. Heb 9:28 In the same manner Christ also was offered in sacrifice once to take away the sins of many. He will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are waiting for him. Jesus blood, now glorified, is the blood of the Lamb, and in Christendom is the main effector of cleansing and justification. Giving honour and also healing from sin. Being an allegory of natural blood, in the supernatural. Clotting, cleansing, nourishing... More than atonement. For redemption and restoration and reconciliation. A life concept, live in God. saying, "Amen! Praise, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might belong to our God forever and ever! Amen!" Rev 7:13 One of the elders asked me, "Who are these people dressed in white robes, and where do they come from?" Rev 7:14 "I don't know, sir. You do," I answered. He said to me, "These are the people who have come safely through the terrible persecution. They have washed their robes and made them white with the blood of the Lamb. Rev 7:15 That is why they stand before God's throne and serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits on the throne will protect them with his presence. Rev 12:10 And I heard a great voice saying in Heaven, Now has come the salvation and power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ. For the accuser of our brothers is cast down, who accused them before our God day and night. Rev 12:11 And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony. And they did not love their soul until death. Act 3:17 And now, brothers, I know that you did it through ignorance, as also your rulers did. Act 3:18 But those things which God before had shown by the mouth of all His prophets, that Christ should suffer, He fulfilled in this manner. Act 3:19 Therefore repent and convert so that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Act 3:20 And He shall send Jesus Christ, who before was proclaimed to you, Act 3:21 whom Heaven truly needs to receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of His holy prophets since the world began. Shalom!
  2. Ranjeetmore, mercy at purification. No anger, no judgment, not cost to be filled, for love of another that is hurt, by the sinner. Moses was strict and grace minimal, the penalty for sin, even for the one who owned up for stealing and knew his wrong, was to die. God's justice, in Jesus is very strong, you must have a cover and be washed from the displeasing sins or you cannot stand in His presence. Unless clean from being and infant. Bhakjatan, Karma does it change after purification? Swami Iconclast, sin is dealt with in Jesus followers with the blood, to deal with anger from a just God, to cleanse our way and give us a clear conscience and love. We can ask to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by our testimony of preferring Him to life. From Revelations. Sin gone, Jesus blood stains one with justice and God is pleased to have us come to His presence. These who walk in the light have a history of receiving and inner change and strengthening, and wisdom is in them. They are introduced, and need not repent but more so confess, they have already repented and are removed from thinking far from the way that pleases God, probably confessing once a day or more. Obedient from moment to moment. Not iniquitous, not transgressors, but trippers and fast footing refinders on the narrow and rough road of Christ. Shalom.
  3. Yes, confess and have stopped the sin, regrets there. To be forgiven is God's decision and we must receive it. God in Christendom is just and sins must be punished or atoned for, they cannot be merely let go of. Sin is intolerable and cannot be viewed and accepted. It must be covered, but more up to date, washed away. Confession like with Catholics only comes into effect after repentance. full acknowledgment of all known sin, stopping and full turning to face Jesus. By faith. By faith alone, with of course the heart to obey, you are made right, the blood cleanses by faith and infuses with righteousness. Clean from sin, touched, stained with justice. If you just have the heart of faith and heart to obey, you are already right, but so much more in Jesus blood. By faith if you are forgiven your conscience is clear, clean slate, light and free. You can receive forgiveness. You then can better forgive others. Which one must. You stop gaining debt in discord with fellowship with God and you begin to love and not rob him, or at least begin by revering or honouring. Get on his path again. But the debt is still there. His forgiveness either requires you pay up, or that Jesus did and you receive the redemptive work, his blood, by faith. Then the debt is over. For given. Given to you. You are released. But repentance or confession is not enough.
  4. Ranjeetmore, so the mind or heart must be pure to see god? It is like that with the Gospel, but with out reach from Jesus and the prophets before him, and now pastors. Christians rely on God to reveal himself through his Spirit, and evangelists. And we rely on him to convict us and purify us. We cannot find God or change ourselves. But you Stokinghem say we need work at ourselves? There is no forgiveness? Is it knowledge that purifies or presences or powers? Impurities in Christ faith are ancient spirits. Not earth. But in our bodies of earth is sin, a power withing against the conscience. We Christians fight sin in the body and the spirits, with God's presence and power and angels and wisdom... by faith, relying on him, with nothing in ourselves except the conscience. What is impurity? Are impure thought in the purified merely forgotten?
  5. Friendship, in the Gospel of John Jesus says. that he calls his disciples "friends" because he trusted them unlike others, to know his business. Although Peter tried to stop Jesus, at which Jesus called him Satan. Meaning obstacle, alike the evil spirits. There are different ways of relating to God, servants, messengers, special messengers, little children, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, friends, disciples, apostles, eunuchs, adversaries, obstacles, sons of the Devil, demons... Little children are highly favoured and dearly loved. They have not been corrupted and are open, trusting and can have simple faith and a relationship with God. And even love him. Angels of God are by design, only able to be servants of God, in perfect love, never more close than that, closest when they are guarding us as when we are children. Then they are in God's presence. Sons are closer to God, like if you have a son who is good, you love him more than a servant, or, even much the same, but there is a special connection, that is not there with a servant. And a capability in him that an animal cannot have, for relationship, such as speech, compassion... collectively. The same with daughters. Brothers are very close, but in this case a friend is closer. Abraham was a friend of God,he knew God, his plan and did God's will for the work to be done, that pleased God. Peter was a result and became a friend of God. Abraham had the prime example of faith and was willing to sacrifice his son, without doubting God. These things need belief, trust and with it corresponding obedience. And of course from faith can come love, and must be for sonly, brotherly or friendship love... Disciples were followers of Jesus, coming from faith, loyalty, and brotherly love, in their case, with patriotism. There were sisters among them. By faith they were brothers and they gave up normal living for Jesus. Apostles were special messengers, disciples with a greater revelation of God and much power and boldness, after full teaching and life experiences. Evil spirits, demons, angels that fell from servanthood and love, still believe, and fear God, but instead of obedience, there is tremendous pride and ambition. So evil spirits are obstacles, demons, adversaries of God. Friends of God believe, know God, love and obey God and have his trust, and grants from God, important work to do. Jam 2:23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was imputed to him for righteousness, and he was called the friend of God." Jam 4:4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever desires to be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Joh 15:9 As the Father has loved Me, so I have loved you; continue in My love. Joh 15:10 If you keep My commandments, you shall abide in My love, even as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. Joh 15:11 I have spoken these things to you so that My joy might remain in you and your joy might be full. Joh 15:12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Joh 15:13 No one has greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Joh 15:14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. Joh 15:15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master does. But I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. Joh 15:16 You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to you. Joh 15:17 These things I command you, that you love one another. Joh 15:18 If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. Joh 15:19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Joh 15:20 Remember the word that I said to you, The servant is not greater than his master. Brothers, servants and friends. A lot of trust and love. Covenant and fearing God are important though Chandu_69. Covenant relationship leads to blood brother closeness. It involves blood. Fear is awe, not terror, and is healthy regarding the name and presence of mighty I AM who is just. We Christians believe merely being a son is challenging because of sin working harm in us by our bodies. It means we are unjust and ignore God, disobey and even become sons of the Devil the father of sin, things like murder, adultery, fornication, theft, slander, blasphemy and harmful lies. Also drug use, sloth... We must be born again by faith in Jesus work and power and presence, recreated from being father by the Devil to being Fathered by God. Children excepted, so they will go to God if they die, sinners must repent and be recreated, by Jesus. In him is love to outwardly express, power over sins past, present and future, and over Satan's claim of any of us. Thanks Sant, I will look into that book.
  6. Hey kshama, I want to read your frame work... You see mine came from Genesis, the Gospel and some from the letters, and Revelations. It is a story a plot, and problem and answer, a matter of relationships, and works, and who does them... So I have only read Christian teachings, and from long ago did notr read Hindu literature. So if you could find major pieces and put them into a plot, a way, a frame work, then I could begin to understand. What do you do to begin with. What to become holy? Is that what you need to prepare for an after life? What need you do for eternal life? What moves you?
  7. Thanks for your answers and compliments. I appear disjointed... I am a Christian, so from my view I seek to find your view. For example, I believe there was a first man, science would say a first tribe or mutant... but from my Christian experience, as mentioned above, I turned to Jesus and the Father when I was in need, and had an experience which for me was above science. This first man was called Adam, and was created perfect in love, light, honour, and justice... formed in these to remain in them, a friend of god. He needed only obey one command. Not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, obviously to us poison. But his wife was deceived, and entreated him... This was theft from god and Adam did not know it but the deceiver wanted to kill god, a spirit from a former age and great wit and evil deeds. This meant Adam and god called Elohim, which means the Mighty Ones, who used to walk together as friends now had a difference. Their friendship was dead and Adam physically died hundreds of years later. Adam lost Elohim's presence and protection, honour... he could only see visible light and the powerful honour called glory that covered him was gone. So this is where Elohim meets Adam in a new light. Adam covered himself, but Elohim covered Adam with skins which involves blood. Elohim still loved him. Elohim promises that the enemy spirit, the evils deceivers would be crushed, defeated concerning Adam, but not so much Adam as the offspring, and the whole race. Adam never was known to repent, and come back to friendship. We start off cool hearted. This is a Christian view. And later we turn to god after he calls us, and we may refuse. There is disunion from birth in everyone. And we are blind to the supernatural. We only have our conscience and god's word through the prophets and Jesus and his apostles. We may have a family tradition of preachers. We need somehow to reach out and find god's hand which is already there, prompting us and those who obey. Sin, unlove, injustice and not showing mercy separates us from god, selfishness is part of unlove, selfishness is attractive to unlcean spirits. And following sin is always death. And there is sickness. We Christians believe Jesus was an aspect or person of Elohim, who was put into a body, to accord the promise to Adam that evil in our race, would be crushed, and that a descendant of Adam's wife would crush evil, and himself be hurt. Sin, sickness and death in our race, things unique to us, would be defeated from within our race. Jesus, Elohim, was Emanuel, "God with us". He never sinned, unlike any man before him. Even Adam's son a few generations later Enoch, who walked with god, so well that he was taken physically from the earth to god's great presence must have sinned. But Jesus was perfect. Born without sin. Jesus called god is Father, and obeyed him in speech and deeds. So he prophesied and healed the sick and forgave sins. Speaking and forgiving as one with authority. Jesus for the matter of rejoining the disunion of god and men was present among us, lived as one of us in a body like ours, knew hunger and tiredness, and then also betrayal, being falsely accused, and beaten, so that it was like he was very sick. He knew the pressure of sin, because he was cursed with all of it on the crucifix. But he overcame it's power. He engaged death, and overcame it's power. Setting a remarkable example of obedience even if it means death. And showed great strength in remaining obedient and rising from the dead. By this he was injured, but he defeated sin and death for anyone who hears and believes, and receives his presence with it's power. Jesus speaks through his evangelists, good news, and this strengthens us when we hear, and we can drink his presence and this also strengthens us, to turn from sin, and to receive him, and have the greater ability to obey again, to have his love living in our hearts. To cross from sinful aloof from god persons to ones who look to Jesus and love him, the guilt of sin and it's power destroyed in Jesus blood, which is now beautiful in great glory. Jesus offers so much love, that he obeyed and himself not only provides skins and blood, but provides his own blood and life right across to us while we are still sinning to begin to cleanse us and rebuild friendship. He turns us, all of it entirely is his doing. Not our own strength or philosophy. All Jesus. He provides all. And gives us hope to be again like Adam before he sinned, in glory, honour, love, clear conscience, freedom from evil spirits, and in regaining eternal life, in friendship as never before with Elohim and in having eternally glorious physical bodies. His waves of love pour over again and again. Into his presence, love. He knows your sins, more love, and he fully accepts you, and more love, until you love him and want to stay with him, and can begin to admire Jesus obedience, for a short time, suffering in this life, then into his presence and all sin and sickness is gone and there is only perfect love and honour in light. With much wisdom and knowledge. Which is restoration. Also Jesus tells of a time when I think he says there will be no more death. And the world will be renewed to the former glory of Adam's day and beyond. So this is where a Christian comes from conceptually. Love was the original way, then sin came. Then disease and death. Jesus was there before he was made into the flesh and began to deal with sin and death, to end it. His love was unchanging and healing of the divide, his word and presence, his compassion answered to whole problem. His power raises some over sin and from death and gives healing and a clear conscience and new life as when being born, and even better. Could you look at my Christian frame of concepts and express your ideas, for me?
  8. What is the beginning of Hindu love and walking with the divine as friends? What about sin and being separated from friendship? And what about turning back from sin, why would one, how so? What crosses to disunion? Where does the will and strength come from? Can you be forgiven and have a clear conscience again, like a small child, and the hope of all good things restored? What happens and how? Shalom.
  9. Does this teaching go, that for sins, the robber does meditation and good works, in order to come back to the normal or the right way? He does not repay? Does his conscience become clear?
  10. Hi, new here, I wanted to ask as an English only speaker, which are the best Hindu scriptures to read, to know about the Hindu Trinity, the history, the powers, the benevolence and destiny in them? Also about the lesser main gods in Hinduism? And a bit on Krishna, when where, why, how, who.... from a Christian viewpoint here. Who do you say Christ is and what must one do to gain a good destiny? And recover from wrong works? Perhaps in short, what is the best English translation of the Vedas? Which are the main books? Looking online and for printing or in print, since I like reading from paper better than from the lit monitor. Thanks, shalom.
  11. Hi, which are your favourite main Hindu books and why? And which when chatting with westerners? Thanks, shalom.
