As long as you have all these ilussionary desires to be master/enjoyer you have this word where you can fulfill your desires. Sri Krishna is not monster -- you want to feel like God? Its stupid but well here you are -- all this word is yours, enjoy, if you think it is better than Krishna. You are pretty sick of thing like they are here? This is excerpt from "Jaiva Dharma" by Bhaktivinoda Thakura: -------------------- Vrajanatha: In that situation, what is the harm that Lord Krsna does not give the soul free will? Krsna knows everything. Therefore Krsna knows if a certain soul will misuse his free will and bring suffering to himself. In that situation it is cruel of Krsna to give such a person free will. Is it not? Babaji: Free will is a precious jewel. In the material world there are many inanimate material objects. None of them were given the jewel of free will. That is why inanimate objects are lowly and unimportant. If he had not been given free will, the individual soul would be lowly and unimportant, just like inanimate objects. The individual soul is a tiny particle of spirit. Whatever qualities spirit has, the soul must also have. Free will is one of the qualities of spirit. Spirit can never be separated from its eternal qualities. Therefore, as a tiny particle of spirit, the soul must have free will. It is because they have free will that the individual souls are superior to inanimate matter and are the masters of the material world. The souls, who all have free will, are all the dear servants of Lord Krsna. When they misuse that free will and enter the world of maya, merciful Krsna weeps to see how they are suffering. Eager to deliver them, He follows the individual souls into the material world. Ware that the souls will not see His nectarean pastimes in the material world, He brings His inconceivable pastimes there. Seeing that the conditioned souls do not understand His pastimes, he descends to Navadvipa and teaches them about His form, qualities, and pastimes and about His own holy name, which is the best way for spiritual advancement, and He also teaches them by acting the role of His won devotee. Baba, how can you place the blame on merciful Krsna? Even though His mercy is fathomless, you remain unfortunate and very pathetic. --------------------------

Dear Priitaa, please accept my dandavats. This word is real and not real in the same time. This word exist only because there are jivas who wish to be here. The only question is why do they wish so? The answer I know is -- this is because the jivas are in illusion -- "dream". By the wish of the Supreme Personality of Godhead -- Sri Krishna, the maha-maya makes our dreams real. So yes from this point of view this word is real. The pain and joy is real, the outer energy, maha-maya, of Sri Krishna is also real energy. well in Bhagavad-gita Sri Krishna says that the best is to full surrender to Him. But if you "cannot" you do this, and if cannot this and so on Finally Sri Krishna says -- if you can't do even this -- cultivat the knowledge "If you cannot take to this practice, then engage yourself in the cultivation of knowledge. Better than knowledge, however, is meditation, and better than meditation is renunciation of the fruits of action, for by such renunciation one can attain peace of mind." I can anly give you a hint that pig's body has much more facilities. For example, modern scientists discovered that pig has 30 min long orgasm. Remember sotory about Indra. One day he had to accept pig's body. When demigods came to release him, Indra was not willing to comeback, he was much happier in pig's body than in havenly human form. Think about. good bye.

"and so I need to have control over this or that" now a little explanation. 1) I have never said that brachmachri asram is better than grihastha, that would be stupid. 2) No, having sex is not your gross body reqwuirement, search the net to find of how much energy costs man's body to produce sperm. Observe animals -- these lower creatures -- do they have sex just for pleasure? Do they have any contraceptives? 3) I am agree that for those who cannot live without sex, marrige is the best way. Or in case of homosexuals or other sexual groups the best is to do everything to limit illicit sex, pacify the mind to some extent and do Krishna seva. To be clear -- I am engaged in sexual life too, I am not brahmachari and mostly that is 100% illicit sex, so your life position is much better than mine. 4) No sex is not pathway to any higher consciousness. Or do you mean tantric stuff? /images/graemlins/smile.gif Doing sex you feel like 'possesor', enjoyer, etc this contradicts idea of pure devotion to Sri Hari and can be accepted for neophytes to not disturb their mind for too much. But on higher stages of bhakti yoga people either do sex for procreation or they dont do it at all. The only right mentality for sex (as described in Bhagavad-gita and as is spoken by different Acaryas) is "If I can bring all the children I'll give birth to Krishna service I will do sex again and again" 5) Orgasm: yes this is the main problem with sex. The feeling is so intensive.. no drug can give you the same.. That the problem, having orgasms, you just want to have them again and again, thats psychological fact. If you take an apple and it is tasty you want another one of the same kind. Thank you, there is a little continuation to my story: ..due to I was kicked from university I was for a year engaged in ukrainian line of BBT, the best year in my life. There I had time to study computers and programming. Then I came back to Ukraine and was employed as a programmer. Now I am director, 50% "shareholder" of UK company "Mycell Innovations ltd". So even in material plane it is better to be with Krishna because in everyway He is the best friend!

I disagree that military forces is demoniac cult. This devotee is serving army trying his best to protect citizens. I hope he offers all his reslts to Sri Krishna while he acts to please Him. In this way this devotee is free from karmic reactions and indeed is doing great service saving us all from these real muslim demons who throw airplains on innocent citizens, who explode bombs in Moscow's subway killing > 50 men women and children. He is duing duties of ksatriya and I sincerelly hope he is doing it like Arjuna did for Sri Krishna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra.

..the wrong with that is that you have to stay in this illusionary world and suffer time to time. The idea of brahmacharya is to leave this world, to stop looking for pleasures in this world and to start looking for spiritual pleasures. Spiritual pleasure is serving Sri Krishna. It is everlasting beacuse it is our eternal nature -- nitya-dharma. But well depending on circumstances everyone is particullary conditioned in his/her own way. So if at the present stage sex is a must for you -- ok try to regulate it and keep practicing bhakti-yoga. Please don't consider this to be an instruction. This is just my approach, a guide for myself.

I had lots of pain because of God. not because He was guilty but because I wanted to manipulate Him. Funny? Then if you dont study at certified high school you have to go to army. Ukrainian army equals to Ukrainian jail. That was disaster. I was so angry on Sri Krishna so I opened refrigirator and has found a piece of salamy (my mother eats it) so I said "Ahhaa! Now I am going to eat it!! You see-- I am braking Your principle!!" Now I am laughing writting it but those times... Also I have found somewhere a box of cigaretes and started to smoke! And I told that from now on my Lord is lord Shiva! Shiva cares about his followers /images/graemlins/smile.gif etc I dont remember if I stopped this b.s. in the same day or it continued for a while. I remember when everything failed and I was about to run away from the city an old lady appeared fixed all the documents manipulated somehow with army authorities and I was released... mirracle. And she never asked for money. Hm... when I was last time angry on Sri Krishna? ... Ah yes. I had done something to my backbone. You can't imagine that pain. That was a few years ago. You cant seat you cant lie you cant breathe. Every move -- biggest pain. "Krishna!! Krishna!!! !@#, !@# why !@#!@ do You need this?? sh**t" Do you think He had appeared and cured my backbone?? No. Yes. I had called local 911 doctors came did some massage, turned my head in one direction in another, hads here etc etc just in 3 minuted I was back to life... Finally after all this stories I realized one important thing -- I will never blame Lord of my heart -- Sri Krishna, Hrishikesha, Govinda, Narayana. It was me who has fallen into this world of painful dreams. Me and only me is responsible bast*rd who deserved this pain. Why do I blame Krishna? He is the doctor He is trying His best to cure me. Consider this: .. when Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, wants to play as a little cowherd boy, yogamaya covers His consciousness and He really thinks that he is little boy, Nanda Maharaja is His father, these boys are His friends, this girl Radhika is His girlfriend. Kunti is pure devotee, most likelly nitya-siddha, so she is acting in accordance with Sri Krishna's divine will. Everything what happened was arranged by Sri Krishna, it is His lilas. Everything what is done by pure devotee like Kunti devi is perfect and most auspicious to everyone. Even if sometimes it looks like maya. Remember Arjuna on the battlefield of Kuruksetra? Can you say that he was doing like materialstic person, ready to abandon his religious duties? That was arranged by Sri Krishna. For a long time I also did not understand Kunti devi's silence and even hated her for she never helped Karna.. Now I am very sorry for my misunderstanding and hope she will be mercifull to me.

yes you have this relationaships! you are jiva-shakti and Sri Krishna is shaktiman -- owner of the shakti. So your relationship with Sri Krishna is eternal and is never broken. However the truth is also that for less than a moment (which is eternity in the material world) you "fell down" into the dreams where you consider yorself to be the shaktiman and outer maya to be your energy. That's not true and for this you are suffereing. soon you will comeback to your eternal relationship with Sri Krishna-Gavinda-Gopinatha-Shymasundara-Ramana-ramana-... you are not man nor woman. There is eternal duties (nitya-dharma) for the living entity and temporary duties (naimittika-dharma). Nitya-dharma correponds to our eternal true nature -- jiva-shakti, servant of Sri Krishna and naimittika-dharma arises from our temporary conditioned position. So while you are in woman body you should be carefully protected by man. In childhood it is father then it is husband. But it all is temporary. As soon as you give up all illusions about "I am this body, I am wo/man" and engage in pure devotional service, your only protector and Lord is Sri Krishna.

Dear Bhaktas, please accept my dandavats, All Glories to Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga! a few days ago I started with "fall/not fall" research and until today I am still searching the Truth. I write this because I am looking for person who has read Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura's book "Jaiva-dharma" and can give some commentaries here. Or maybe there is devotee who has read books of other Acaryas of our Guru Parampara like Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Paramahamsa Prabhupada. Reading excerpts from Jaiva-dharma I have developed this understanding: 1) The really eternal religion (dharma) comes from our nature. What is our nature? - Our nature jiva-shakti. Shakti means energy. What is the business for energy? The business for energy is to serve its Master --Sri Krishna. So the truth is that I am a Vaisnava, servant of Sri Sri Radha Krishna! Then Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura Maharaja explains that due to wrong association nature of existing entity (vastu) can adopt __temporary nature__ and so temporary duties/religion (dharma) arises from it. --- So if my eternal dharma is to be Krishna's servant how could one insist that I am eternally manifested in the material world, this stinking realm of self enjoyment illusions????? Furthermore Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura Maharaja Paramahamsa Prabhupada explains the meaning of word "nitya" in the sanskrit term "nitya-baddha". The explanation is that "we cannot trace when we come into being in the realm of maya so for this the word nitya is used" How happy I was when I had read exactly the same from Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja Prabhupada! I would like to hear if similar explanations are found in books of other Acaryas of our and not our parampara. 2.1) There are different kinds of Krishna servants. Some of them are nitya-siddhi. They are not jivas. Srimati Radharani is not jiva. She is innermost energy of Krsna then she expands herself into forms of eight other gopis etc. So the nitya siddhi are not jiva-shakti (tatastha-shakti), they belong to cit-shakti -- inner energy of Sri Krishna, Govinda, Shyamasundara. They never "fall". They can't, they have slightly different nature than jiva. They don't have so much of free will like we. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura Maharaja writes in the Jaiva-dharma that desires of Srimati Radhika and other nitya-siddhis are subordinate to desires of Sri Krishna. This is why it is said that they are sometimes unaware about material world at all. -- Because nitya-siddhi devotees belong to cit-shakti they never fall. 2.2)But we are jivas, we are "made of" jiva-shakti, which is also known as tatastha-shakti. What does it mean tatastha? Sanskrit word "tata" means subtle line between water and land. (I am eager to go to the river and have a look at it, but right now here is a winter and all rivers are frozen /images/graemlins/smile.gif So water in this example is alive consciousness energy, sand is inanimate matter. We "belong" to the edge between the two. By nature we are 'water', means we are spirit, we have nothing to do with material world. So in this sense we are inner energy of Sri Hari (apareyem itas tvanyam prakritim viddhi me param -- beside this low energy there is my other, high energy; jiva bhutta maha baho yayedam dharyate jagat which is all living entyties.. BG7.5 ) So is the tatastha some place in the spiritual world where jivas are located and where they simultaneously see Krsna and maya and make their choice? No. Tata-(edge between river and shore)-stha(situated) is used to describe our nature. And this nature is that we have some free will (Jaiva-dharma chapters 14-16) without this freewill we would be of any value to Lord Sri Hari, we would be the same as inanimate matter. Inner energies of Sri Krishna have consciousness, Brahman is consciousness. Outer energy has no consciousness this is why it is considered to be dead. Indeed when living entity in this world lefts its material body the body becomes inanimate and shows neither signs of consciousness nor any other signs of life. How much freewill do we have? Not so much. We have just enough of freewill to say yes or to say no to Krishna. That is all the choice we have. We cannot live independent from Krishna. We control nothing. We are under control. This is why in this material world we need assistance of Paramatma to literally do everything. Eating, sleeping, passing stool, perceiving the world, "acting" -- all the "activity" is actually done by the Owner of energies - shaktiman. We are not shaktimans, we are shakti ourselves. So the only choice is to love or not to love. This could be under Krishna's control, finally he is the shaktiman owner of the shakti, I am the shakti - owned by Him, but Sri Krishna wants to love and to be loved. So in case with jiva-shakti He gives us this choice. What does it mean to have a choice? That means jiva has two ways to go, two ways to direct his (actually her) love - 1) to Krishna 2) to herself So those jivas who direct their love towards Sri Krishna remain in the abode of Krishna and those who out of misusing their free will want to be "enjoyers" go to realm where they may "enjoy." Krishna is fully aware what this realm of miseries is. "Abrahma bhuvanal lokah BG 8.16" - every place in this world even Brahmaloka is place of miseries. This is why *after achieving service to Sri Krishna, nobody is willing to return to miseries. There are several places in the Bhagavad-gita where worlds like "nivartante" and "punar janma" are used. Nivartante means "to return" and "punar janma" means to be born again. I can easily accept this truth! Yes after so many sufferings in this material madness, having achieving the Krishnaloka I will never comeback to this world, I will never be born in material body again! Why? I am not that stupid I will be taught a good lesson. Our original position is to serve Krishna. 3) The time and space in spiritual works and the time and space in the material world are completely different concepts. With this question I am really weak since it requires intensive meditation and some experience would be also good. I have only material experience in my disposition so how can I meditate on spiritual time and spiritual space? I have read that they are different from material ones. There is neither past nor future in the Vaikuntha world there is only eternal present, yet there are different actions and they change one each other so we see all these wonderful pastimes of Sri Sri Radha Krishna. The spiritual space is also different from material one. Krishna is form and formless, Krishna is the most powerful yet in the same time He is little boy and allows his mother to punish Him. Krishna is the biggest and the smallest. All what exist is residing in the Krishna, but Krishna Himself (together with all the universes etc) is smaller that the smallest atom in this world! How to understand that? Even in the material world some scientists like Albert Einstein have theories that time and space can be relative (those interested can go to library and search for Relativistic Theory). From spiritual literatures we know that time on higher planets is different from ours 1 day of Brahma is X billions of days in Earth. So I am trying to accept this idea, and beg you to either support it with references to the guru-sadhu-shastra or criticize it for my benefit: 1) "Zero 'time duration' on Vaikuntha is eternity in the material world" 2) "Zero space on Vaikuntha is infinity for material world" That means that yes we have fallen in the material world from Krishna lila and we have been "here" for material "eternity". *This is why the words like "nitya-baddha" and "anadi karma" are used. *Yet when we will return to our pure consciousness, our pure nature, which is pure loving devotion to Lord Sri Hari, Govinda, Gopala, Shyamasundara, Radha-ramana, Hrishikesha, Narayana we will found ourselves exactly in the place and time still doing the same loving devotional service as it "was" in the "moment" of fall down. **This means that we have never fall down. Because we were not absent in Krishna lila even for a moment!! Yet something will be changed - we will have true hate for slightest idea to enter ("fall down") into these sticking dreams (material world) again. Yad gatva na nivartante - tad dhama paramam mama. So actually while being in material world - we are sleeping and having bad dreams! All we have to do is to wake up. Jivjago! Jivjago! Gaurachandra bole (wake up!
