I want to ask that in this chart, Jupiter is a functional malefic. Should we try to strengthen it? When suggesting remedies we try to strengthen benefics and suppress malefic usually, what are the exceptions? Is this case also an exception.

I am a learner and asking for my own curiosity. I hope you will spare few minutes to quench my thirst

On the Rahu sub-dasha, I thought my Rahu is debiliated - is it not bad then ?

Rahu is debiliated, it means it is weak. It doesn't mean bad for Rahu

Although Saturn is a functional benefic, but it's placement is not so good. For examle

Saturn as a lord of house 5 and 6 is placed in eight

Saturn is placed with Moon(Lord of profession)

Saturn is aspecting lord 10 (house of profession) and house of Wealth

Then, is it supposed to give good effects (because it is benefic) or it is supposed to give bad effects (because of it's placement)?

Also If it is supposed to give bad effect, We will try to suppress it (Because it is giving bad effects) or we will leave it as it is (Because it is benefic)

This is indeed a unique chart and also show a lot of problems.

Some important i noticed,

Saturn and Mars are malefic in horoscope and placed together, along with Venus (Lord of house 6 and 10), Mercury (Lord of house 5 and 9) , and Rahu (exalted).

Lord of 8 (Sun) is exalted and is in house 4. Lord of 12 (jupiter) is in house 6

Mars is aspecting house 8, 12. Saturn is aspecting 7, 8, 2

But also,

It has Kendra Trikon Raj yog, which is very powerful rajyog

Can you please tell, whose kundali is this and where he is now a days??

My sade satti problems were mainly career related last time, however were partly mitigated. When I lost a job I found a new one in one week but I lost that too after a few months.

 

I have a Rahu Antardashs starting in two days - in 3rd house and debiliated. There are very conflicting views on my 2009 prognosis as well. Any views ?

I agree with Mylilangel, Saturn is functional benefic for you and also most strong in shadbala, so it is supposed to exert good effect. Problem arises also due to venus and mercury combusted by sun, along with jupiter being malefic and exalted moon in eight house (which may cause some disturbance in mind also).

Regarding your Rahu subdasha, I think Rahu is also well placed in your kundli (house 3, which is considered good for malefic planets) So I think Rahu mahadasha will be good for you, as it is aspecting house seven (house of spouse, where mercury, venus, sun are residing), also house of profit.

Also, Usually in Rahu kaal, Sun looses it's effect, so the combusting to venus and mercury by sun will be diminished and thus lead to strengthning of your personality. Although Venus has a little functional malefic quality so it may cause some problems in your love affairs/married life. But that will be in less extent.

Mr Sandhu Ji posted about this few months back how to determine about these yogas in different different way. For simplicity, when planets are within Rahu and Kethu, it is Kal Sarpa Yoga but when they are between Kethu and Rahu it is Kal Amrit Yoga. Their nature is different. One is materilistic in nature and other is spiritul by nature. I simply draw a line and put all planets with respect to degrees. May be some planet is not within Rahu or Kethu although it seems that it is with Rahu or Kethu, in that case it does not form a yoga or effects will be not the same extent.

In the chart of the person I saw a reation between the planets, I know although you must have noticed it, But I want to brief the relation here for my own knowledge,

Lord of house 6 (Jupiter) is in yuti with Lord of house 8 (Saturn) in house 3

Jupiter (as a lord of house 6) is aspecting Lord of house 12 (Mercury - in house 7) and Lord of Lagna (Moon- in house 11)

House 12 is aspected by saturn (from house 3) which is lord of house 8

Jupiter, Saturn and mercury are mediocrely strong in shadbala,

What effect can this situation have on the life, lifespan, health of the person?

Please spare a few minutes to quench my thirst

In my opinion, you do not have Kal Sarpa Yoga. Although some may say it is cancelled too. All planets are within Kethu and Rahu and thus you have Kal Amirit Yoga.

I am a learner like you and would like to welcome you to the forum and compliment you for your wonderful effort in helping people.

 

If you don't mind, I want to share my own experience here. I too have an exalted sun with combust mercury and ketu in the 6th house. My experience is that sun does best in the 6th house as it destroys the house it sits in ie. competitors and enemies. I ran the mahadasha of sun during the period of my primary education. during that entire time, I always topped and enjoyed extreme fame and success (may be sounding weird but true!!!) And after that though I have had education from the best of the institutions and have done very well in life, there was hardly an occasion in my life, when I could have the same experience.

 

Though at the same time I must mention, that during the Sun mahadasha, my (combust) mercury significations did suffer a lot as I was extremely timid and shy. My confidence levels were down zero. it was only in the next mahadasha of moon that I underwent a complete personality change -- for good.

My screen shows that you have Gana mahadosha in your horoscope matching. Also only 17 gunas are matched in your horoscope. I think your horoscope was not matched properly.

Also his Horoscope has Saturn in his 7th house (Spouse) and his lord of 7th house (MArs) is placed in 10th along with sun and aspected by Rahu from House 6. Which also give him problem in his married life. and in adjusting with his wife

Both of your Horoscope shows that you shared a warm relation with each other before marriage, which lead to a unexplained rise in expectations from each other which were not fulfilled after marriage. Which was the reason in the breakage of marriage.

Also may be some of his sibling has played a role in your fate. (I am not sure about this)

A KSY is not valid if any of the planet is with Rahu or Ketu.

But everyone will interpret your chart as different. According to me you doesnot have KalSarp yoga.

But you may be having problems financially and in your profession which is due to placement of planets in your chart.

Your Jupiter, lord 0f 2nd house (wealth) is placed in 10th which is good. But it is placed along with Saturn and Rahu also it is weak in shadbala and is aspected by Ketu.

Your Sun, Lord of 10th house (profession) is in 6th house, which is not good and Sun is also strong in shadbala and is aspected by Rahu. It is also aspected by jupiter which decreases it's bad effects.

Once upon a time Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva were wandering on Earth when they passed a temple. There a beggar was worshiping Lord Shiva and doing Parikrma (Moving all around the structure) of the temple.

Goddess Parvati felt pity on him and asked Lord Shiva "He is your very old devotee, he worships you daily with heart and dedication. He is one of your dedicated devotees. But you had still kept him a beggar and poor. He barely gets food to eat. How can you do this to your devotee? You can make any one the King, I wonder then why are you not helping him out?"

Lord Shiva Replied "This is Mrityu lok, Everyone has to pay for his karmas. He doesnot have money in his luck due to karma of his previous lives. THis is his destiny and he is supposed to be poor all his life. I cannot change someone's destiny"

Goddess Parvati said " I don't know anything. You have to help him out and give him some money at least to eat. I request you to please help him"

On the humble request Goddess Parvati, Lord Shiva agreed to help the beggar. He kept a pot full of Gold coins in the way of the beggar where he was doing the parikrma of the temple.

Then, When Beggar was going all around the temple he thought "I always come here and do parikrma of the temple with my eyes open. But what if someday I become a blind? I have nobody to help me in parikrma! Then I will not be able to worship Lord Shiva." After thinking this he decided that now on he will go around the templewith his eyes closed so that he can practice the prakrima even when he become blind.

He started doing the prakrima with his eyes closed, and he passed the Pot full of gold coin thrice with his eyes closed.

Then Lord Shiva turned to Goddess and said "See everyone will get what he have in his karma."

In short "You can lead a donkey to the pond, but you can not make him drink"
