    Dear Krishnaji,

     

    Your venus antardasha will start in oct 2011 which should bring good results. Though I am tempted to think that ketu antardasha from oct 2010 should also improve things.

    Did the problems started after 22nd Feb 2008. I think they must have, as your Mercury is weak. It might have created professional problems as it is situated in 10th house.

     

     

    Yes, this could be the reason, Mercury is a malefic for Aries lagna, but if it is weak then it could cause a bit of more trouble for the house it is located in. Thanks Ayush,

    I am suffering from rahu mahadasha. I am facing lots of struggle in each and every single bit of my profession. Whenever i feel like geting a project done suddenly something happens then either i loose it or it get delayed.

    Dear Krishnaji,

     

    I am also going through Rahu mahadasha and as you know it lasts 18 years, a very long time, but the whole of 18 years do not necessarily go bad as often thought of. During any mahadasha of any planet there are sub periods called antar-dashas or simply AD. Even within these sub-periods (AD) there are sub periods called pratyantar-dashas or simply saying PDs. So I am sure that you have some basic understanding of the astrology and the dasha cycle. This is just to give you the clear picture of how it works ane let me tell you that even I am also going through Rahu mahadasha at the moment.

     

    Your Rahu mahadasha started on 16/3/2000 (this will end in 2018) if I am correct and right now you are going through Rah/Mer/Mon cycle, this means you are going through Rahu mahadasha-Mercury antardasha-Moon pratyantardasha. This period is still not good for you. So please wait until the Ketu antardasha (AD) starts, but I am not sure when it does. Good times will come back to you. You are still young and do not need to panic so much. Thanks,

    Yes, transits do have effects, but one need to see what dasha were running at that particular time of event, say marriage, accident, business losses etc. This is very generalised to say that whenever Rahu passes through the 8th house from Jupiter in the birth chart something always goes wrong, but I would request you to please not jump to conclusions. People have different results during such transits and the skills required are also difficult to acquire. Thanks,

    I am sure that you can, your 7th lord Sani is in the 12th house, the house of foreign settlement, Ketu in the 9th house the house of short journeys to foreign lands. During Ketu's mahadasha or antar-dahsa you should be able to go abroad. Let us pray that things go the way you want them to. It has been sometime since you lost the passport, so is your company co-operating with you propery? sorry to ask you this but I just want to know a bit more.

    I am still learning the finer points of astrolgy and this has been going on since 1995 when I had just finished my class 12. Books are good but many of them do not have birth charts to suport their predictions solidly. Magazines are also a good ref point, so they in my opinion are better. Internet does not have that many great sites, but in recent times there has been an increase in astro- related sites and articles, so hope that it goes on getting better and better. I am right now focusing on another important branch of astro which is called the Krishnamurti Paddhati or the KP system. It is much easier to learn and does not have much theory almost none. It is used for predicting timing of particular events in one's life and many people are adopting it. Here it is

    I don;t have a Green Card I cannot start an Independent Business of my Own but all these is still in MIND for future..

     

    That is what I was asking for, as without a GC how you can get a loan from an American bank. Your 3rd house (the house of entrepreneurship) lord Venus is in the 1st house with 2nd house lord (the house of income), you might be thinking of doing so. Your 7th house (the house of business and business partners) lord Sani is in the 12th house making it powerful. This might give you some chane but this is still a tricky issue. You can have your wife as your partner in terms of some legal issues, if you are already married. But I request that you do not venture out now, as the stars do not seem to be right for some uncanny reasons that I would sincerely struggle to explain. Forgive my limited skills in this area. I do have friends and relatives all over the world such as US, Canada and Aus...

    I am sorry to bother you again my friend, but there is something interesting for you if you want to know what dasha, antar-dasha and pratyantar-dasha you are running at any given time, here are a few sites that can be of great help, but let me tell you that if you have a software then it might show some difference it dates, generally between 15 to 45 days at most this is my experience.

    For past 2 yrs I was in US and currently I got Stuck in India due to Loss of my Passport/visa under the Jupiter-Rahu Transit..

    Under the Malefic Mercury Maha dasha I was able to receive my B.TECH, M.Tech and PhD all these degree in field of ELECTRONICS ENGINERRING..

     

    You have some good education yogas, I believe that you were in the US for the PhD. Mars rules electronics and it is a very yog karaka in your kundli as per the reason mentioned earlier in my replies. Guru aspects the 4th house the house of higher education ie masters, phd etc. 4th lord is in the lagna and yog-karak for the Leo lagna like yourself. I am sure that you will be able to settle abroad for good the H1B will not hurt you much, but you never know. I have the feeling that the foreign job and settlement will take place during the Ketu mahadasha after 2011. But you can be there in the US working even tomorrow morning, I am not God. Keep trying you have a good birth chart.

     

    I have also spent 6 years in the UK for my degree in IT and came back in 2007 Nov, due to poor health and a terrible stomach pain, I am still recovering and going through medicines, currently jobless due to this illness and now getting mentally strong by the day with astrology. Bad times come to each of us. I came back in the mahadasha of Rahu and antardasha of Ketu. Just like yourself, Rahu has also given me kicks when I was just about to start my career.     I do not know the art of predicting when the problem (passport etc) will go away with the level of accuracy required, but I am sure that it will soon, just a matter of time, meantime if you do not mind, please do this mantra as I am doing it atleast 108 times a day, better write it 108 times a day without fail, in a new notebook. it is for Rahu actually it should be like

    Rahu and Moon together in the same house without the good aspect of Guru on both of them is not a welcome sign, but I have seen people studying a very interesting things particularly in micro-biology or physics and some branches of extreme science. They also become scientists and researches of some sort. But one has to be very careful with this combination as it can hurt you a lot mentally and can make you behave like a child sometimes.     You have Leo lagna meaning that the lagna lord Sun, 4th and 9th lord Mars and to some extent Jupiter the lord of 5th and 8th houses together become the benefic planets for your lagna as per old books on astrology.

     

    Sun is a very important planet being the lagna lord as you know, it is in the 12th house and at 18 degrees this is good, I personally believe that whenever a planet goes into the 12th house it becomes very strong. Even though many will not believe so. Saturn is also in the 12th house with the Sun within 6 degrees at 13 degrees and the Sun is at 18 degrees as I mentioned earlier, this is not good in any sense, Sun and Saturn as you know are enemies despite being father and son as per astrology principles. Be very careful when it comes to spending and lending money to others, no matter who they are.

     

    Both Merucry and Venus (being a malefic planet for the Leo lagna and same goes for Venus) in the 1st house are not a good sign. Although both of them are accompanied by Mars in the lagna and Mars is a benefic planet for you being the lord of 2 good houses namely the 4th and 9th. Mars is yog karaka here but the presence of Mercury and Venus spoil the game for you.

     

    Moon is outside the axis of both Rahu and Ketu thus avoiding a major problem called the Kalsarpa yoga plus you have Jupiter in the kendra meaning in the 10th house. Jupiter looks directly at the Moon and this is good, but this is likely to trouble you regarding the health of your mother, vehicles and property, though I might be wrong here and only time will tell. This might give you a chane to settle abroad for good, this upto you and your circustances.

     

    In the Navamnsa kundli, both Mars and Mercury are in their own signs meaning they are not weak overall. Mars in the 12th house in Scorpio sign and Mercury in the 7th house in Gemini sign, this is a good boost to their overall power to give results.

Maharishi Parasara goes upto Shastiamsa (D-60) which is made dividing a Rashi in to 60 parts and the level of accuracy Vedic Astrology allows us to go to, can be imagined easily by this. Even Ashtottaramsa (D-108) is used by some most experienced astrologers to look into most subtle and accurate events possible!

    I hope you missed something in my Horoscope or in Birth Details....Actually I have LEO as the lagna and Saturn is there in the 12th house with SUN which seems to be in combust

    I read an article saying that Combust planet losses it properties and its neagtive effects are not seen in the individual life....

    Generally speaking, combust planets lose their effects, if they are malefic then they lose their bad effects, which lessens the pain for the native and if they are benefic then they lose their good effects which does not give the native the full power of the planet or planets in question. The good or bad effects of malefic or benefic planets are lessened to an extent but not wiped out completely. During the dasha, antar-daha and pratyantar-dasha one has to go through the pains or gains of the concerned planets.

    Based on the info, your lagna is Taurus and Saturn is a yogakaraka for your lagna. Saturn is not combust and is placed in Cancer, the 3rd house. Though 3rd house is not bad for Saturn, Moon being an enemy, it is not the best house to be in. But Saturn is vargottama and conjunct with Venus in Navamsa. Overall shadbala is weak. But still being a yogakaraka, may not cause much problem.

     

    In any case, I have read somewhere that Saturn and Venus are not affected by combustion. Combustion enhances the malefic nature and makes only nullifies auspicious effects.

     

    On the other hand, your Mercury is combust and though owning good houses (2/5), may give troubles in its Dasha/Bukthi. Incidentally Me owns bad houses (3,6) in Navamsha.

     

    Very good and logical analysis, well done, if you work hard you will get a better understanding of the finer points of the astro system. I am also a self taught but I listen to everyone and make my own judgements based on my own personal experiences of life, this helps a great deal in deciding the exact effects of a malefic or benefic planet.

     

    Although as the original poster has clarified that you have made a mistake in putting the data into the horoscope making software, the analysis for the horoscope generated by mistake ie of Taurus lagna is quite good. One must understand the benefic and malefic planets for each of the 12 ascendants. This is of great significance. Thanks for your time and patience and good luck in the future.........
