astrologer ji I am really tensed please help. It is regarding my son. His dob is march, 29,1989 time 12:23Am pob Ludhian punjab india. He doesn't stay home always running out. He goes out of the house for weeks and months and don't come back. I am really very upset don't feel like eating doing anything. My house seems like a mess. I feel at this point of life i lost everythig i had. I currently reside in new york. I don't know what is going on. My mother in law thinks it's black magic i don't know. I am afraid that he might get into drugs and do illegal stuff out there. for some reason it is always a thursday that he steps out of the house. This time it has been a week already he stepped out last thursday and still has not come back. Anything he starts never finishes off the way we would like it. Please help me, I cry each day and night and pray for things to get better but it just seems to get worse and worse. When will that day come when everything will go back to normal in our life. I am tired of my life. please please please help me.

Thank You Sandhuji and RR ji, I am so happy to receive all your inputs on this. I have been studying astrology for a while now. It is as fascinating as it is confusing .I have gone through, BHPS, Laghu Parashari, Saravali and varahamihira concepts of astrology. . There are so many contradicting views. All your inputs are really really helpful.

1. I also have a question on Parivathana of planets. what exactly is the effect of parivarthana? For example if lagna lord(jupiter) and 7th lord(mercury) exchange places, does it mean during jupiter-mercury period, the effect will be that of jupiter-jupiter period+mercury-mercury period+mercury-jupiter period+ jupiter mercury period? How does all this add up to?

2. Also, often analysing a horoscope of a well known and successful person, turns out to be not so tough since we try to look at why he is successful and try to see positivity in most of the placements. But if a similar horoscope is given by a person who says he is a failure in life, the similar placements may be analysed as the reason for failure. One of the examples that I came across was Amitabh Bachchan's horoscope. He has 4 planets in Dustana in deadly 8th house. I have seen analysis on these planets and why he is successful. If the horoscope was the same but was given as that of an ordinary person who was full of problems, would not the astrolgers come to the conclusion that it is because of all important lords in Dustana? Do we have an unbiased way of judging a horoscope?

The experts may find my questions extremely trivial and baseless, kindly forgive me if that is the case.

If the lord of 6,8 and 12th also happens to own 3rd or 11 th house then it becomes all the more malefic. Laal kitaab refers to these houses 6,8 and 12 th as trik bhavs and many a books have been authoured on malefic effects of these houses. I personally feel 6,8 and 12 to be more malefic in effect and design.

There seem to be different views on the malefic lordships. According to BPHS, the lords of trishadyas, ie 3,6, and 11 houses are the most malefic in a chart, while 8th and 12th lords are neutral. But we see in several discussions that lords of 6,8th and 12th are the most malefic.

As per my understanding, planets occupying 6th , 8th and 12th cause the most harm but as far as lordship is concerned, 3rd,6th and 11th lords are the most malefic, is my understanding correct? Could the experts kindly throw some light?

Yes webyogiji, I thought since job market is bad, instead of feeling dissapointed and doing nothing, I thought I could go for higher education and better utilize this time. I know things are generally bad all around and no point in simply complaining abt my situation, I just have to accept it!

I moved to US around 2 years ago after marriage and have been looking for employment. Things have been tough on that front.Married life has been blissful and no issues on that front.Some of the esteemed astrologers in this forum helped me with my query related to employment and I have been doing the remedies and hoping for the best.Things have not worked out so far.

Meanwhile, I strongly desire to pursue my higher studies as soon as possible. I have an engineering degree in computer science.

It's true that there is no such dosha called 'Kaal Sarp Yog" exists

in classical texts. Moreover, I agree with David's opinion that it

should not be given any weightage in 'isolation' for a person's

horoscope, rather the association of Rahu & Ketu with other planets

in the chart plays vital role.

 

The two renowned persons with so-called 'Kaal-sarp yog' : Bill Gates

and Late DhiruBhai Ambani. One can be very sure that Bill Gates has

It is definitely not true that Dhanishta males are hated by women! A friend of mine has dhanishta nakshatra and is happily married! Infact there is no paticular nakshatra tht is bad.

I have a quick question on how reading is done based on the transits..For saturn and jupiter, do we observe the transit from lagna or do we observe it from chandra?

For example for cancer lagna and chandra in simha, jupiter transit to capricorn would mean 7th from lagna(good) and 6th from chandra(bad) what does one have to infer from this?
