this year seems to be a year of interesting events, one of them is this list.

I'm Uwe and I'm coming from Kundalini-Mailing-List and there I'm still on.

The only I'm doing, is listening and learning and remain silently.

My name is Charles but my sanskrit name is Pusan. I am new to this list

and am looking for a "new" teacher. I have been guided thus far under

the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda and the Self-Realization

Fellowship but have however become disenchanted by it's teachings. (We

do not agree on a lot of things) Therefore, I am on the path to find a

new preceptor. I am studying "Dancing with Siva" right now and the "Rig

Veda" and I have also come to find that I am into Tantra. i don't

really know what to make of this so I welcome any advice. I do go to

temple on a regular basis. I beleive that most Hindus would call it a

smartist temple. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and let

everyone know that I am here.

Yogananda has manifested some miracles in my life, but I have now reach

the place where I must go alone.

I have been involved in the pursuit of knowledge for many years, trying

various paths until in 1986, I found a path called Siddha Yoga. The head of

the lineage now is Gurumayi Chidvilasananda, and her Guru was Baba

Muktananda who not only help introduce the teaching of Kashmir Shaivism, to

the west but started wakening seekers with experiences of shaktipat that

transformed people's consciousness giving experiences of the Self. His

successor continues to have an overwhelming power to transform people's

lives and I would invite you to check out the SYDA Foundation web site to

learn more about this Siddha.

Discussion is important, but the grace of a real Guru is indispensible to

real understanding.

I have nothing to gain by my mention of this but if it is helpful in the

least, I am honored.

Harsha: Thanks for your note Don. My teacher Chitrabhanu Ji knew Baba

Muktananda very well. Chitrabhanu Ji particularly spoke very highly of

Swami Nityananda (Baba Muktananda's Guru) and cited him as an example of a

great Sage in the Shakti tradition. I am a devotee of Ramana Maharshi.

Perhaps you are familiar with his teachings. His presence was widely sought

by great yogis such as Baba Muktananda, Swami Yogananda (of Self-Realization

Fellowship), and various Shankracharyas, other Swamis and spiritual

luminaries of the day. My teacher visited him in his teen years as well.

There are many people on the list who are familiar with the workings of the

Kundalini Shakti and who speak of the nature of the Self and

Self-Realization through their Own Knowledge.
