179. The highest master, Ganesa and other Gods, Visnu and others; they

keep this in their mind and do not speak it aloud to others. This is

true. This is true. Thus I have spoken.

Comment - Even the Gods keep this text sacred. (Thanks Kanda).

Any thoughts?

Kalia.

OM NAMAH SIVAYA

i recall a quote from Neem Karoli Baba that says something like,

never talk about your sadhana, wife, and money or they will leave

you. Swami Satyananda of the Bihar School also says that it is best

to keep your relationship with God a secret. like lovers keeping

their love affair a secret from others. it makes it more special.

it prevents negative input in the form of jealousy, etc. from others.

maybe this is part of why this verse and verse 178 refer to secrecy.

Dear Kalia,

it reminds me of Mary, who kept the words of the angel in her heart...

sacred is secret, indeed (thank you, Kanda),

with love,

Henny

Thanks for your response. It reminds me of something Shree Maa said

regarding Her Guru. Maa said that (not these exact words) although

She was in constant contact with Ramakrishna, She never told others

including Her family because Ramakrishna promised that if She kept

Her experiences quiet, He would always remain with Her. It is also

mentioned in the book Before Becoming This.

Matters of the heart are really quite sacred. The heart is the residence of our Beloved.

Jai Guru.

  • 1 year later...

Well producing the sound doesn't mean that no one can do it. All the GOdly saints are send to earth to fulfill the desired purpose and they are free to perform the tasks which they were to send to, but not even a single thing out lined.

There had been really a revolutionary Guru who fought for the truth and re-establishing our ancient knowledge. Nothing could stop him, he was the real master, a real human... more than anything else. I perceived this through my experience of more than a decade.

regards
