Guest guest Posted February 12, 2005 Report Posted February 12, 2005 Found this on the web. My thanks to the unknown author. Jai Maa Nanda ========================================== An atheist came to the monastery and questioned the Master, "If there is a God, why doesn't he do something about all the terrible problems in the world?" The Master remained silent. The atheist waited for a moment and then took his leave, feeling confident he had rebuked the Master. Afterwards, some of his disciples asked him, "Why did you not respond?" "Because he is not ready to hear the truth." Still puzzled they asked, "And what is the Truth?" "God doesn't have anything to do with the problems of the world, they exist in only one place: the human mind." ======================================================== Quote
