Today he is smart, and strong;

 

Yesterday, he was weak, and unsure;

 

Tomorrow, his might is unknown;

 

and so it goes;

 

Today he has a Guru to hold his hand;

 

Yesterday he held clouds and memories;

 

Tomorrow's forecast without guarantee;

 

Today's light shines on a clear path to tread;

 

Yesterday he wandered in thickets;

 

Tomorrow, he knows what is to be done ... but then again ...

 

Clearly, clearly, we are in Her Hands;

 

Sometimes she is opening them,

 

Sometimes she is closing them ...

 

Her Hands ... Her Beautiful Hands.
