Question from Sadhvi:

>From which Veda are the "shanti" verses in every

sankalpa....beginning with, "om santa dyah santa prthivi ....and

continuing until the end of the sankalpa? I would like to have the

Veda and the location in the Veda, if possible. Thank you.

 

Swamiji's response :

 

Our Shanti Path emanates from Samaveda, but it contains a collection

of other mantras, all compiled from Purohit Darpana. I cannot give

you an exact citation from the Veda right now
