General Question

[Guest guest]

I once had a Devi Mandir Card with a picture of Maa on the front and a

mantra on the back. The mantra was a Shree Maa mantra. If anyone knows

of this mantra, I would much appreciate knowing the words and meaning

for it. Thank you ~ Linda

Dear Linda,

This may be the card and mantra you are asking about... Shri Maa

Gayatri: om sanaatani maayaa vidmahe jnaana prakaashaayai dhimahe

tanno shimaam prachodayaat - meaning: om we meditate upon the

Eternal Measurement of Consciousness, contemplate She who

illuminates wisdom. May that Shree Maa grant us increase.

Blessings,
