Melons cut in half and some Kum Kum applied is the "blood" offering for Durga

Ma. I notice that during the vegetarian Kali pujas I've attended offering uncut

fruit that then gets a dab of Kum Kum afterward surfices. I don't know what is

substituted for the wine.

Hi Marsha!

Thank you so much. It makes sense to use kum kum for blood!

Apparently, it's okay to offer Kali wine at the Devi Mandir -- so

that's nice to know.
