Guest guest Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 Hi Aaron- Sorry to say I can't remember if I read this or heard this, but the Yantra is worshipped first and even during arati all objects offered are offered to the yantra first.I don't know if this is strickly a Shakti/Tantric practice or not, but in other Hindu temples that focus more on the masculine I've seen only the Murti being worshipped, unless it's hidden somewhere in or behind it.
