On Manipulating the Maya 2

It takes me 2 hours to recite Chandi these days. A year ago I was 25%

faster. Advancing age may have slowed me down to 2 hour recitations.

A 2 hour Chandi is a fairly well practiced recitation for me. When I

started out with the Chandi learning tapes it took much longer. At

that time I did only half the Chandi to one asanna. A guy in

Rishekesh was doing 7 Chandi recitations per day at about 80 minutes

each. Now I am told that he can do it in 67 minutes.

 

The pujas in the skinny Shiva and Durga books can be done in 15 to 20

minutes. The Sahasranimas to Shiva, Laksmi, and Kail can be done in

45 minutes by many.

 

Some people spend 3 hours doing beautiful sing song Chandi

recitations. I takes practice to gain Chandi recitation speed.
