Guest guest Report post Posted February 4, 2006 Haribol. I am worshipping a saligrama sila at home and am looking for another to keep him company. However, due to suffering from evil entities, I wish to worship a slightly fierce shila to assist in overcoming any negative energies. I understand that some shilas are only meant for worship by celibates, or bhramacaris, such as ugra nrsimha. Therefore, which sila would you recommend for grihastha worship, and where can I find one ?
muralidhar_das 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2006 Ask Jayatirtha Charan das at http://www.salagram.net/ for info about this that will be a more appropriate forum to talk about things like this.
stonehearted 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2006 I second Muralidhara's suggestion. It's supposed to be inauspicious to worship two Shalagramas, I believe. I think it would be well for you to check Jayatirtha-charan's site.
Pankaja_Dasa 1 Report post Posted February 4, 2006 My Parents brought back a 'stone' round in size from Govardhana, is that a 'sila'? Is it ok to worship it. Without much effort? Or is it same as Radha-Krsna worship. Govardhanara Gopala /images/graemlins/grin.gif
