Every devotee knows the 4 regulative principles, but are we REALLY following them???

Of course from newest vaisnava to the oldest one, every vaisnava knows the four regulative principles, but are we REALLY following them properly?

 

No meat-eating

No gambling

No intoxication

No illicit sex

 

The first three are easy to follow, but the fourth one is the most difficult one to follow, because according to Krsna(BG 7.11) sex is meant for procreation not pleasure. In other words the real meaning of the fourth one is:

 

No any kind of sex pleasure!

 

Now, please let us think about this for a while:

 

How long have I been SINCERE to myself, my guru and Krsna?

I agree that one should keep on asking himself if he has been sincere to himself, his guru (if he has one)and Krishna.The four regulations - No meat-eating, No gambling, No intoxication, No illicit sex.These are self-regulatory. One has to work for it.
