Prophecy...and its hindu possibillities

some hindu's I know know say 'aleyhi salaam' after mention of hindu gurus as if they were prophets of Islam?!!!! now if they believe that the vedas ARE indeed from the one god KRSNA/ALLAH subhana hu wa ta'ala, then should they not recognise jesus and Muhammad as there teacher in abrogation of the old prophets of Hindu lore?
