Guest guest Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 when I received harinama from Srila Sridhar Maharaj, I was given neck beads with two strands. when I received diksa and the sacred thread, my thread had nine strings, not six, as is given in iskcon. when discussing different things, Sri Chaitanya said to Ramananda Raya, this is superficial, go deeper, this is superficial, go deeper, this is superficial, go deeper, until Ramananda began to speak about suddha bhakti, pure devotion...
