During Chaitanya's time there were Syrian christians in south India. They were pure, not polluted by european political-christianity. But Chaitanya didn't acknowledge them while visiting them in the south. Why?

Christians and Muslims in India during the past were primarily converted people who left Sanathana Dharma out of fear of execution by muslims or out of poverty since chrisitan missionaries gave money to the poor people to get converted. Just because someone was born in India, its not to be accepted that everyone read Gita by default. There were all standards of people at all times and one who got converted were primarily the lower caste people who were not having knowledge of sanskrit and also treated as sudras out of their profession they were doing. Hindus with knowledge of sanskrit and people with brahminical traditions were not converting to any other religion. even now, you can see its the uneducated people who convert for the sake of money and not for any values.

Even after conversion, unfortunately their way of life or life style never improved to any extent and the only difference they recognise was (is) calling Krista (Christa) instead of Krishna.

its difficult for us to get a details of all things chaitanya did during his time. there is something called the gap in history from his advent to now. may be subtle things got lost for posterity.

at least we know that he never condemned any other religion.

Or was Krishna in the mood of Radharani just happy to be experiencing this ecstacy? He was rolling around on the ground in ecstacy! His mission was not to tell us which religions still might have something left in them that's good.

The question should be why didnt the christians acknowledge Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

And why should he be beholding to what we think would have been proper. He defeated the Kazi, using the Qoran. By using the qoran to convince the Kazi of the authenticity of His samkirtana movement, he utilized the teachings of Lord Jesus as well.

As far as a particular sect, in goa or other areas where Didyamous Thomas had taught of Lord Jesus, Sri Chaitanyas influence is there as well.

And why prop up Jesus when Haridas Thakur was his beloved associate whom he called the Nama Acarya, the caretaker of the Holy Name.
