As we get older we loose our thurst,so we never drink water,this is the reason of many body akes, when you start drinkig, you will fell the differance in one to two days ,so drink up add maha water to your bulk , the minumum is one half once per pound .like if you are 150 lb you must drink 75 onces 1/2 galon is 64 ,and that pure water not juice,tea ,soda. just plain pure water ,try it an you will fell great !!!!

No the guidelines to drinking water are 2 litres only per day.

 

actually drinking the quantity you state can cause serious liver and renal problems.

Sorry, I find your facts misleading and dangerous, where are you getting this kind of information from?

 

Your figures and facts are wholly wrong! It's not the Ayurveda is it?

 

This 'One Gallon' of water a day is erroneous I have to agree totally with our guest. Do be careful drinking water in that kind of amount can lead to serious renal failure. This is a very dangerous practice indeed, I am surprised devotees don't question it further and see it for what it is.....'Bogus.'

i read recently about someone who died from water intoxication!! in other words drinkin too much water!!

 

the recommended daily intake of water should be 2 litres.

Thankx nice info .at the very end it said NOTE: you shouldn’t drink more than 1 ½ qts of water an hr. or more than 12 qts a day.

How does pure water act?

Consuming ordinary drinking water by the right method purifies human body. It renders the colon more effective by forming new fresh blood, known in medical terms as Haematopaises. That the mucousal folds of the colon and intestines are activated by this method, is an undisputed fact, just as the theory that new fresh blood is produced by the mucousal fold.

If the colon is cleaned then the nutrients of the food taken several times a day will be absorbed and by the action of the mucousal folds they are turned into fresh blood. How to do this water therapy?

1) Early morning after you get up from bed (without even brushing your teeth) drink 1.50 litres of water i.e., 5 ? to 6 ? glasses.

 

Better to premeasure 1.50 litres of water. Let us all know that our ancestors termed this therapy as "Usha Paana Chikitsa". You may wash your face thereafter.

 

2) Here it is very essential to note that nothing else - neither drinks nor solid food of any sort - should be taken within 1? hours before and after drinking this 1.50 litres of water.

 

3) It is also to be strictly observed that no Alcoholic drinks should be taken the previous night.

 

4) If required, boiled and filtered water may be used for this purpose. Is it possible to drink 1.50 litres of water at one time?

 

1) To begin with, one may find it difficult to drink 1.50 litres of water at one time, but one will get used to it gradually.

 

Initially, while practising you may drink four glasses first and the balance two glasses after a gap of two minutes.

 

Initially you may find the necessity to urinate 2 to 3 times within an hour, but it will become normal after sometime.

 

By research and experience, the following diseases are observed to be cured with this therapy within the indicated days as below

If we do not drink enough water, our bodies start to retain water to compensate for this. To sort out water retention, we should drink more water, not less. The less water you drink, the more the body sees its survival as threatened and conserves every drop. thanks for the info, but as we men get older we also tend to urinate more often. I'd need to hook up a hose or something.

 

 

I have the same problem as i have developed type 2 diabetes. My mother had it so I am not too surprised. Material world is like that. Here we pass on diseases to each other.

 

Anyway too frequent urination from enlarged prostate can be dealt with by an herb called Saw Palmetto Berry. Google on it for more info.

 

For diabetics we must watch our water levels carefully. Drink water often thirsty or not. Waking up at night is a drag. For that I use A synthetic form of vasopressin called Desmopressin. I have also read it uses herbs in it's production. But I don't understand chemistry but the old vasopressin came from the pituitary of some animals.

 

Anyway, it is a pituitary hormone, a neuropeptide, (that may mean something to someone /images/graemlins/smile.gif ).

 

It is a memory aid and is used as a smart drug by students when studying and by elderly people in general for memory improvement. It is also used by those with Alzheimers,and amnesia.

 

In addition to that, vasopressin role in the body is to regulate body fluid levels and it prevents it's loss through too frequent urination.

 

It has a mind clearing effect without making one feel stimulated so you can even use it before sleep.

The Water Cure Recipe

 

Drink 1/2 your body weight of water in ounces, daily. Example: 180 lb = 90 oz. of water daily. Divide that into 8 or 10 oz. glasses and that's how many glasses you will need to drink, daily. Use 1/4 tsp. of salt for every quart of water you drink. Use salt liberally with food. As long as you drink the water, you can use the salt. Use only 50 to 80 mineral, no additive, unprocessed sea salt. Avoid table salt. It only has three minerals in it. While the best sea salts contain all minerals, you should eat a banana or two a day for potassium and take some magnesium, calcium and zinc to maximize your immune system.Avoid caffeinated or alcoholic drinks. These are diuretics and will dehydrate you. Every 6 oz. of caffeine or alcohol requires an additional 10 to 12 oz. of water to re-hydrate you.

We all know that, thanks to a drug-based medical education, doctors are illiterate in nutrition. That is why our healthcare system is largely incompetent to high heaven in preventive medicine. why overwork your equally old kidneys, so you can get heart disease? the kidneys and the heart are very closely related - both deal with courage.

the adrenals produce adrenaline, for flight or fight. they are steered by the kidneys, the renals, hence ad-renals. the heart is the seat of courage and is dependent on the kidneys for its proper function.

so please do not believe every allopathic speculation that comes your way, however good it looks. It is ALWAYS incomplete.

Science, though usually thought of so specifically or in its own local terms - generally supposed to be prying into some old bones, bugs and unsavoury messes - is an expression of this one spirit. If science could absolutely exclude all data but its own present data or that which is assimilable with the present quasi-organisation, it will be a real system, with positively defined outlines. It’s seeming consistency, stability and system is only sustained and sustainable by damning the irreconcilable.

You can oppose an absurdity only by another absurdity. Then again, science is established preposterousness. I say, we should not be outraged, but be outrageous. The outrageous is the reasonable, if introduced and presented politely. In the topography of intellectual comprehension and competence, I would say what they call knowledge, is ignorance, surrounded by laughter.

These publications form the Bible of the Church of Science, and their editors are the bishops.

The quasi-god Virus and his consort Bacterium are the deities worshipped by the atheistic-materialistic Church of Medical Science. Bacterium and Virus are always invoked, especially because nobody seems to have the faintest idea how to explain them. Generally, they explain them away as the Cause of all causes; a position, which religion reserves for the supreme deity. When these deities don’t suffice, the minor deities Bacillus and Microbe can be invoked, whenever Virus and Bacterium don’t answer their prayers.

The Isopanisad says: ‘The wise have explained that one result is obtained from the culture of knowledge and a different result is obtained from the culture of nescience.’

Their preoccupation with the levels of this, that and the other, say for instance the blood, the liver and the kidneys, is nothing but prejudiced towards what they prefer to see. These levels have to be normal, they say. Their sense of the normal is derived from the mythological Mr Average, who is another figment of the imagination. He is not only similar, but also actually the twin brother to Mr Nobody, whom the learned fraternity of allopathic doctors invariably think the patient before them to be.

A false sense of security is transferred from the essence to the superficial, the external covering. The periphery is considered the be-all and end-all of our existence, while the centre is neglected. It is for this reason alone, modern medicine can never fulfil man’s needs.

In the same breath, the Church of Medical Science claims the throne of learning, without the capacity to understand the facts before their eyes or the incentive to impart values, ethics or morals. Medical scientism, being entirely materialist in outlook, falls far short of the merits for the throne, upon which it has itself so squarely planted. This is precisely because it cannot ever deliver the goods, such as health and happiness or peace and prosperity, which it so boastfully promises. Since it fails to account for and denounces the individual, it cannot comprehend the needs of that same individual.

Intelligence is generally supposed to be creditable. It may be, in the sense that it is mental activity trying to find out, but it is a confession of ignorance. The rest of us are plebeians, not yet graduated to their Nirvana. This they call instinctive and suave, as opposed to the intelligent and crude. Whether they jump or arrive at a more leisurely pace at the conclusion, they still believe disease to be caused by a lack of water. Narrowness is an aspect of the local and wideness that of the universal. I go on widely.

This, as with all heretical views, shall be met with the customary dissent of the orthodox and unimaginative doctors, who will condemn it for its originality.

There could be real science, if there were anything to be scientific about. They are inimical to all data discordant with their non-system that does not include them. Science is supposed to be inclusive, but they have turned it into an exclusive club; not to add knowledge, but to systematise. Over and over again, we see the universal delusion. Hope and despair that there can be real criteria or distinct characteristics of anything. They suffer from a disease even homoeopathy is almost powerless against - deliberate ignorance.

Theoretical science is still a reaction against theological dogma. For it is rooted in nineteenth century thought - exclusionist. Where first God had to be excluded, now it is inimical data. If I or you were to pull out a piece of chewing gum about a meter long; that will be quite as scientific a performance as is the stretching of your imagination on accepting modern medicine - or its claims on the origin of Aids - as scientific. Theirs is the attempt to assimilate all ‘verified’ phenomena under the materialist explanation. They want to formulate the rules for a final, all-inclusive system on the basis of what they can hold between their fingers and can see with the eye. If they could, they would have a real science.

Alas, they disregard the mind and emotions and especially iatrogenesis as causes of disease and so they are stuck with the unscientific, because they exclude, instead of include. They seem to think that such is real. I say they build a delusion upon a delusion and the second is as unreal as the first.
