Guest guest
After leaving the temple devotee association and now trying to raise a family without any friends or community support,my situation is very difficult to say the least. But many others have been in such a bind and survived? How?
Guest guest
Maybe you should re-establish that previous association, but in a new way. You left so there must have been some dis-satisfaction. You may have become over-familiar. That is natural in the material world. There is no perfect society or individual relation that will be perfect and meet all our expectations. Even if we found such our mind's expectations would soon change making the object of our relationship appear imperfect. Change is constant. Every situation we form in the material world, either in groups or alone is doomed to disappoint us, WITHOUT EXCEPTION. But we have immediate needs for association as we traverse the path back to God. So perhaps we needn't break off all imperfect relationships but rather temper our expectations of them. Don't expect to much. If people can help you remember Krishna in some way, while being fairly pleasant to be around most of the time, then maybe count your blessings. We all seem to have this tendency to accept completely or reject completly. I think these mental states are too turbulent for the mind to remain in good balance for yoga practice. Guest guest
Can't you be more sympathetic toward another man's problems? Why are U always so cold and ruthless? It is not what you say, but the way you say it...it is so insensitive. Try to change. Krishna wouldnt approve of this type of behavior. Guest guest
How would you know what Krsna's desire is are you a 'Pure devotee?' I don't think so. I doubt very much you are tadatmik with Krsna's heart! Anyway try to come off the bodily concept. It's only the ego that is hurt not the real self. So it really does not matter what anyone say's in the scheme of things, well if your Krsna Conscious anyhow.
Guest guest
Haribol, PAMHO AGTSP I also left the temple after staying as full time devotee for 16 years. I felt lonely, isolated and unloved. Then i got tired of this loneliness and decided to create some association. So i started preaching to new people. Now i have a large circle of friends who i cultivate. Preaching is the only way to gain happiness in this material world. That is my firm conviction now. Hope your situation permits you to try this.
