shambu 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2004 Yesterday I picked up a book and in the introduction there was a reference to The Disciplic Succession. The four bonafide Vaisnava-sampradayas were mentioned, and they identified themselves as belonging to the "Brahma Mathura Gaudiya Vaisnava Sampradaya." What is this? I never heard of this name. Obviously the Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Vaisnava Sampradaya was meant, because all the appropiate Acharyas in that line were listed. It was mentioned twice (2x), so I figured it could not be a blunt mistake. Can anybody give me some useful information on this issue? Thanks! Haribol.
