The reason you fast till sunset should be because He appeared at that time.Lord Krishna appeared at midnight and Lord Nrsimha appeared at dusk etc.

Radha Kunda das.

Vrindavan dham ki jaya!

I am also confused about the fasting till sundown as in ramanyana Ram is said to have been born at noon?

I am also concerned as the 'appearance days' of other avatars aren't been observed with as much importance such as Matsaya Jayanti which was on March 23, is there a reason for this, or do i have the wrong date?

Here is a picture of my ramanaumi pooja with shri Ram Pariwar in the hindloa(swing
