Govindaram 1 Report post Posted December 23, 2003 Hare Krishna Offering water (with some milk, flower etc) in the Mornings, is this normal practice for Vaisnavas also? The mantra used is Om *Glim Suraya Namah *not sure about this word What are the views of bhaktas/matas? Ps. I am expecting 'Just Chant Hare-Krishna' /images/graemlins/grin.gif
Guest guest Report post Posted December 23, 2003 I have seen a number of indian devotees offer water every morning to the sun. I think it is a nice ritual and don't see any harm in it. The sun, as a servant of God, provides life on this planet, so why not offer it/him something out of respect.
