Hare Krishna

Please forgive me for any offences, this is

my experience with KC, so far. I don't have

much time so i'll just get to it:

1. You read the Gita

2. You accept Srila Prabhupada as your guru

3. You start chanting Hare Krishna Mantra

4. You try to follow 4 regs

5. You 'fall down' a lot or 'fell down'

6. You find out about the Ritvik theory

7. You accept the Ritvik theory

8. You reject the Ritvik theory

9. You start chatting with devotees

10. You start to critisize devotees

11. You realize how ignorant you 'really' are

12. You read the Gita again and again...

13. You look for a bona-fide Guru

Radhe Radhe

14. You learn to walk the talk,

15. On that walk, your Guru is revealed to you *1.

And everyone lives happily ever after.

Amen

*1 NOTE: Sastra says that it is by the mercy of Sri Krsna that we get guru and then it is by the mercy of guru that we get Krsna. Walk, then run.

Thanks so much! This is really what I am looking for. I want to be a devotee but don't know the process.

I have the Gita with me and started reading it and the beads and also memorized the Chant(sometimes I chant but only one round /images/graemlins/frown.gif ).

What are the 4 regulations?

God Bless!

Myra

Hare Krsna,

no meat eating,no gambling,no illicit sex,no intoxication.

one must come to the platform of goodness to understand that we are not this body we are spirit soul, what is our realationship to God.

as above steps in Govindaram's guide go through step 1-4 and then stop and skip to #13, if you are very sincere to find out the truth, supersoul in your heart will guide.

falling down and disobeying Prabhupada, pleasing?

accepting and rejecting mental platform=confused,pleasing?

critizing devotees,pleasing?

But i did notice my mistake, skip to #12 and make sure the Bhagavad-gita is authorized by A.C.Bhaktivedanta SWami.

Thank you!

I am reading Gita, and the 2 books Krishna Volumes 1 and 2 (not yet finish the volume 2). I was able to hear the teachings of some of Sri Prabhupadas teachings, but can anyone of you please send me more of his teachings? I want to read/hear them, if possible since he started to preach...chronologically. I did received some of his teaching from a Friend.

I am willing to give my email address to receive the copy of his teachings. Thank you so much in advance.

Jai Sri Jesus! Jai Sri Radhe!

Myra
