Gauracandra Posted June 7, 2003 Report Posted June 7, 2003 The Belmont will be raced soon. No betting here, but it is fun to watch horse racing. Funny Cide has the chance to go for the first Triple Crown in the last, I believe, 25 years. Reminds me of a "Memories" story. Srila Prabhupada asked "What is the most beautiful animal?" and a devotee responded "The cow is the most beautiful animal. No" Srila Prabhupada replied "The horse is the most beautiful animal." Quote
Gauracandra Posted June 7, 2003 Author Report Posted June 7, 2003 Looks like no Triple Crown this year. It was a good race with Funny Cide in a good stride, but he didn't keep up at the very end. Quote
Guest guest Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 Maybe the race was pre-determined. Guess Guest Quote
