Guest guest
US website allows for messages to be passed to the afterlife An American cartoon artist has set up a website where the living can send telegrams to the dead. Paul Kinsella recently launched the http://www.afterlifetelegrams.com site to contact between the living and the dead. It costs about £3-per-word to post the message to the site. The message is then given to a terminally ill person who memorises it to take it with them into the afterlife. The messengers all have less than a year to live and Kinsella says they are tested to ensure the message is perfectly captured in their memory. Once the messenger passes away, the fee, depending on the wishes of the messenger, is either given to a relative, donated to a charity or used to pay for medical bills. Kinsella admits they cannot guarantee the message will be delivered. "Truthfully, nobody knows what happens when someone dies. Since we cannot guarantee the delivery of the telegrams, our clients only pay for the delivery attempt and not for the delivery itself," Kinsella says. For example, people still mourning the recipient may not use the service, the recipient must be dead for more than 30 days and the message must be in English. theist
why didn't I think of that one. Like when they started selling naming rights for the stars. Where was I? I keep thinking I could do something with sand, but I'm not sure what.
Gauracandra
Theist, Don't worry, one day we'll find our niche. Pet rocks are taken. Naming stars is taken. Sending messages to the deceased is taken. We just need to brainstorm. Maybe something with pets. America loves their cats & dogs. I actually saw a pet psychic on tv once who was claiming to be communicating with people's dead pets.
theist
LOL Once I was studying hypnosis. My teacher was a real new agey type who talked about why she started eatting meat again. I politely brought up the cruelty to animals issue. The next session a fellow student brought me a book that was supposedly channeled from the animals 'on the other side' through this medium. In this book the animals are speaking a very educated form of English and saying that it was OK if we ate them. They didn't mind at all as it was their natural place in the universe etc. and blah blah. LOL I couldn't believe it. There was this picture of these various animals grouped together I guess in the astral world discussing these things and trying to put our minds at ease over slaughtering them. It seems the Cattlemans Association is getting very creative in how they distribute their propaganda.

I would presell my body to someone in Hollywood, giving them the rights to my corpse. This would be made into high grade pet food for their dog or cat upon my demise. It was just an idea. I thought I could get more if I could find someone to certify it as California Organic. The problem is it has a very limited market. Hmmmm.. There are already pet pyschologists. How about pet faith healers? If there was no visible improvement we could say it was due to the pets lack of faith.
Gauracandra
Your sand idea might have some possibilities. How about engraving people's names on grains of sand (microscopically), and then spreading it in different parts of the world. Maybe $1 per grain of sand. You can have your name on some sand on every continent of the world /images/graemlins/smile.gif
theist
like on Telegraph there is this little table with a sign that reads" I can write your name on a grain of rice". That's not bad. I would write their name. $ back guaruntee( in case they have a microscope themselves)
livingentity
I have five acres of prime desert sand... One time when I went to Mexico there was this guy that would write your name on a grain of rice. He put it in a little vial of water to magnify it so you could read it. livingentity
I'll start packing up some sand tomorow. Yep, the rice thing is real!! I think I still have mine somewhere. He actually got my whole first name on the grain of rice. I remember telling him he would not be able to fit it on. I don't remember how much it cost but all the gringo tourists got one. livingentity
Also, the desert air is very very dry here. So we bottle it up in a pump spray bottle (no aerosol) and market it to those in damp, humid climates. Great for frizzy hair, mildew etc.
Guest guest
I looked for a place that sells the rice jewelry and found this very cool site: http://www.glasstrinkets.com/ Heather
livingentity
The one I got in Mexico cost a lot less but then it is just a little vial with the grain of rice hung on a string. The ones on this site are much classier!
