Guest guest Report post Posted December 3, 2002 Every letter is holy and has its own deity, its own incarnation of Hari. What is the essence of X? "Take the essence" and Take care

Guest guest Report post Posted December 4, 2002 This present generation has aquired the title of the X generation. I think it has come about thru their disillusion with everything, so they want to cross it all out. They seem to be frustrated with the whole prospect of the world and we can understand their feeling, but like us, the jivas have to find a positive alternative and that's not easy either, when even all the spiritual paths are riddled with hypcoracy and poor example from the last lot. I think it was Charles Manson who signed his signature in blood with a cross on his forehead. Strange how that appeals to some people heh?
Guest guest Report post Posted December 4, 2002 not really. The icon of the cross is universally connected with Jesus and not for Krishna. The X often means the Christ as well as the fish icon which has a cross in the tail. Have you seen a drawing of a mridanga in the inside cover of many Gaudiya publications. Is that an offense to Lord Chaitanya? "Take the essence" and Take Care.
