the tigers are the running the longest terrorist campaign in the world today.

 

They invented suicide bombing,they killed Rajiv Gandhi that way.

 

they want an independent country for the Tamil minority in Sri Lanka.

 

they feel discriminated against by the singhalese who are buddhist.

 

They have controlled the northern part of the country for some time.

 

They have destroyed a once paradisical island and turned it into a wasteland.

 

Most likely there is alot going on that is not reported by the media, probably organized criminal participation.
